Max Juliani
About Max
Expert Analysis
Jonathan Davalos | Prep Redzone Scout
Maximus came into the day with high expectations and certainly lived up to the hype. A silky-smooth route runner, he impressed with his ability to get in and out of breaks, particularly on an out route where he quickly snapped his head around to make the catch. With a strong foundation and powerful legs, he was reactive and quick to adjust to the ball, consistently showing his strength in contested situations. Maximus came down with the ball multiple times in traffic, demonstrating his ability to track and secure catches in tight coverage.

Just behind Coll in terms of eight (1 inch shorter) and weight (10 pounds lighter) is Maximus Juliani. A prospect who seems to be flying under the radar in terms of notoriety, should Juliani have a standout performance he might rise to the level of publicity as “America’s Mayor” – at least within the New Jersey middle school football word.

A Quarterback can’t put up staggering passing numbers without talent on the outside and that’s what Juliani is for QB

. The duo has spent a lot of time working this off-season and I expect it to pay off big. Juliani has encouraging size, speed and hands. Looks to have put on some good muscle since I last saw him in May.
Has attended a Prep Redzone Next camp.

play in person in 2023-2024, but also the first time since December and first time in a camp/combine setting. There was a ton of good out of getting to see him on the field again, up close. His speed and quickness numbers were excellent – clocked at 2029 WR-best 4.81 (hand-timed) in the forty. Also showed off the same reliable hands I witnessed as a member of the NJ AYF All-Stars in September/December. The one glaring thing, by minimal fault of his own, is that he measured in at 5-foot-9 and 165 (solid)-pounds instead of the 6-foot, 150-pounds he was previously reported at. Nonetheless, another year on the youth level will bring natural growth. Make no bones about it, he’s one of the top receivers in the Shore region.

Juliani was one of the few 6-footer’s (or close to 6-foot) in attendance at the tryout and he was impressive. One of the most natural, pure pass-catchers I saw all day. The Manalapan product runs very smooth routes and excels on intermediate and deep ball routes. Uses his hands to catch passes away from his body and quickly gets north and south. On a team that appears like they’ll have a bunch of wideouts with average size, he will be one of the bigger bodies if he’s selected.
