Cannon Falls has been a dominant team all season, and last week was no exception. In Week 7, the Bombers put a 74-40 beating on the Austin Packers, and Kyyra played a major role in that success. On just 5 carries, Kyyra rushed for 120 yards and 2 TDs, an insane average unlike anything I've seen this season so far. It's his second straight game of 100+ rushing yards, and it brings his season TD total up to 4. He also tallied 4 total tackles on defense. On his junior tape so far, Kyyra does a great job of bowling through defenders, always running his feet upon contact and falling forward for extra yardage. Keep an eye out for this 2028 prospect who's been balling these last two weeks.

The QB1 for the Cannon Falls Bombers, Schoenfelder's play is a big part of why they are 6-1 so far. The multi-year starter played well in their Week 7 win, taking two carries for 49 yards and a TD, while also amassing 2 total tackles, 1 interception, and 2 PBUs in the Bombers' secondary. What junior tape he has out right now highlights his versatility and added value to the team. On offense, Schoenfelder is a good athlete and a hard runner. His vision and ability to find cutback lanes are high-level, and he's shown that he can break big runs anywhere, including on special teams, where he's proven to be a dangerous returner. He lays it all on the line for every run. This Cannon Falls 2028 class is something else.

An essential DB in the Bombers' secondary, as well as a rotational QB in passing situations for Cannon Falls, Swanson is another piece to the Bombers' puzzle that opposing coaches have to decipher. He went 1/1 last week, throwing a 22-yard touchdown pass, his fourth of the season. His real upside, however, is as a DB. In Week 7, Swanson recorded 4 total tackles and brought down his second INT of the season. On his season tape, Swanson does a great job of reading the QB's eyes and flying like a missile to a catch point. More eyes need to be on this out-state senior, especially during the section playoffs in a few weeks.

A high-level basketball player, Roschen is the definition of a jack-of-all-trades athlete, as he's recorded stats in nearly every category this season. In a 49-0 Week 7 win over Red Wing, Roschen took a season-high11 carries for a season-high 171 rushing yards with a crazy impressive season-high 4 TDs to boot. He also recorded 6 tackles and his first PBU of the season on defense. I was really excited by his senior tape. Roschen is both fast and quick. As a receiver, he does an excellent job of separating from a DB and is a serious chunk-play threat the minute you get him in open space. These traits carry over to his talents at running back. Goodhue is looking like a nasty squad to see in sections, and Roschen is no small part of that.

An RB/LB who has been balling throughout his senior season, Peterson took 4 carries for 56 yards and a TD last week against Austin. He also brought down 7 total tackles and is among the most productive defenders for the Bombers this season. His senior tape is pretty impressive. On defense, Peterson flows naturally to the ball, careful not to overpursue while still maintaining near hip leverage. He does a great job of playing downhill and doesn't mind getting physical in the wash. On offense, he runs like a madman. Peterson can steamroll defenders and drag them with him downfield. Watch out for this dangerous senior throughout the rest of the season.

A 6'0" and 190-lb RB/LB, O'Reilly has been a dominant part of Goodhue's plans, both offensively and defensively this season. During Week 7, he took 7 carries for a season-high 100 yards with an endzone trip mixed in. On defense, he brought down an impressive 11 total tackles, including a TFL. What junior tape he has out is incredibly explosive. O'Reilly hits a hole hard, carrying impressive speed for his thick frame. He can make a quick cut if he needs to, or simply lower his shoulder and run a defender over. With a big finale to cap off his junior season, we could see O'Reilly emerge as a legit RB/LB prospect.

Kruse has been, without a doubt, one of the most impressive 2029 prospects throughout this season. In a 46-0 Week 7 routing of Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, he went 8 for 12 through the air for 201 yards and 2 TDs, finishing with an otherworldly 149.3 passer rating. He also picked up 78 yards on 15 carries on the ground with 2 more endzone trips, as well as a 2-point conversion. On defense, he finished with two tackles, but on special teams he had a 15-yard punt return, and a pair of punts tallying 108 yards. On his tape, he has more poise than a great deal of sophomores do on varsity, and the ability to create big plays on both sides of the ball. Right now, Kruse looks like one of the most exciting sophomore prospects in the state, and I can't wait to see where he goes from here.

A 6'1", 175-lb WR/DB, Yackley balled out last Friday. On just 3 receptions, he managed to rack up a stunning season-high 108 yards with his second TD of the year. He also brought down 2 total tackles on defense. He doesn't have a ton of senior tape, but on what he does have, Yackley showcases some solid speed. I would classify him as a possession catch receiver, with some upside to take the top off of a defense. He fights hard through contact and can drag defenders with him several yards downfield after he reels in a catch. Expect Yackley to be a big part of TMB's passing attack in the playoffs.
