Schoenfelder is a DB/QB who saw time starting in both roles last season. He also made a serious splash at the PRZ Stock Up Showcase in December. His sophomore tape is through and exciting. His athleticism is on full display throughout it. Schoenfelder plays in that power-t offense, and because of that, he’s able to properly utilize his legs to gash defenses. He possesses the speed to pull away from the wash for big gains and does a stellar job of carrying out his fakes. He runs hard, often proving difficult to bring down, especially for just one defender. He’s not afraid to take a big hit if it means gaining a few extra yards, either. On defense, Schoenfelder is a safety who can erase deep routes. He’s got great ball instincts and does a great job of contesting passes at the catch point. His vert also impressed me. Schoenfelder should play a massive role for Cannon Falls next season.
