He plays out of the slot, but thrives when working out-breaking routes to the sideline. He has a good feel against zone coverage and has shown soft hands when targeted. It remains to be seen how Charlotte Christian divides targets in the future with so many talented young skill players, but Dallas should be a factor for years to come.

We heard about Johnson before the season as a potential game-changer, but weren't sure when he'd get the chance to showcase his skills on Friday nights. He's actually making a bigger impact right now as a corner, but we like him as a receiver. He's a twitchy receiver with the hands to rack up big reception numbers and plenty of yards after the catch.

There's plenty to come from Matt Morrow, Zane Rowland, and me on the 2030 rankings over the next week. Patrick is a speedster who will always have a role on offense thanks to raw athleticism. A multi-sport athlete, Patrick isn't simply a fast player without nuance or other impressive traits. As a route-runner, he's going to get deep often. His quarterbacks will often throw it before he's come close to clearing the corner, knowing he's going to get behind the defense. That said, he already knows how to use that speed to drive defenders back and then beat them on in-breakers.

Reeves has dabbled at a number of positions this season, but his future is at receiver. He's quick in and out of his breaks and can make people miss with the ball in his hands. The coaching staff already likes him a lot, as we've seen from the fact that he's played some receiver, running back, and even quarterback for White Oak as a freshman.

One of three impact freshmen for Kings Mountain, Boyd has flashed this year. He's earned some playing time and has been productive when targeted, averaging 24 yards per catch. He's not operating much over the top, instead finding space underneath and making defenders miss in the open field. His speed is excellent, and we expect a huge career from a promising young receiver.

Unlike many of these other guys, Brown has the early size advantage over defensive backs. He's playing junior varsity, and it's almost unfair. Robinson will sometimes flip the ball out to him on a quick screen and let him run by (or over) the defense. His acceleration is alarming, and he's a guy who will likely move up when he breaks onto the varsity team full time. Based on a handful of clips, I don't think that will be an issue.

Early in the year, Glenn showed his speed to get over the top of defenses, and since then, he's taken advantage of softer coverage. He decelerates well, allowing him to work back to the ball on back-shoulder fades, hitches, and…

Dallas is the smallest of three Charlotte Christian freshman receivers on our radar.

He's actually making a bigger impact right now as a corner, but we like…
