One of the newest Davenport commits!

Leslie has continue to roll offensively, and Joel has been the engine. At over 43ppg, Joel has the offense humming. I absolutely love everything I have seen and heard about Joel. He scans the field and makes decisions quickly and has the arm to make any throw. He has continued to develop athletically and has become an incredibly dangerous runner. Whenever he takes off, defenses have a tough time getting a hand on him.

I absolutely love the Davenport fit for Joel, and I could see him developing into the guy for the Panthers in the not-so-distant future.

The SVSU commit does a great job of making quick, confident decisions. You don't see him panic or not know what to do. He checks his reads, and if nothing is there, he has the legs to still turn it into a positive play for this offense. He takes care of the ball and doesn't telegraph passes, making him very difficult to figure out.

Every time I see him he has made more and more strides, making me think he may not be anywhere near his ceiling quite yet.

Grand Ledge sits at 7-0 and is looking as strong as ever. Myles has done everything necessary for GL to just keep rolling. Everything I saw at workouts over the offseason has translated to Friday nights. He still shows that same strong arm that allows him to put zip on the ball and hit guys in stride. The ball jumps out of his hand on deep balls and he understands how to layer throws at any part of the field. I love the way he moves and extends plays, while still keeping his eyes downfield and his options open. Very underrated kid still that has plenty of potential.

Nathan is a really good example of a small school QB that gets overlooked. Nathan has a solid frame and operates his teams offense at a high level. While they don't ask him to throw the ball 25 times a game, he is efficient and makes the most of his opportunities. On top of what he does through the air, he is a significant threat running the ball as well, making defenses account for him on every down.

Brady is another QB that fits his teams offense so perfectly. On the ground, he has no issue running the option, getting in space, or even taking it up the middle when necessary and getting the tough yards. Say what you want about his size, he is not scared of contact. Through the air, he picks his spots well, understands how his offense is attacking the defense and has the arm to deliver quick and accurate strikes to his playmakers. He can throw on the run, throw across his body and under pressure. Nothing seems to rattle his confidence at all, even when he knows he's going to take a shot. I love the grit and determination, and believe he's one of the more dangerous West Michigan weapons.
