Teams of the Week: Las Cruces (6A), Cibola (5A), Bloomfield (4A), Silver (3A), Dexter (2A).

Las Cruces (4-0) stayed unbeaten with one of the best performances by any team this season. You don't see Hobbs get shutout at home very often, but the Bulldawgs dominated both sides of the ball in a convincing 41-0 victory at Watson Stadium. The offense led by QB [player_tooltip player_id='2182154' first='Aldo' last='Gallegos'] was on point while the defense led by UNM commit LB [player_tooltip player_id='1606042' first='Denton' last='Walter'] suffocated Hobbs all night.

Cibola trounced winless Miyamura, 56-13, Thursday at Community Stadium for the Cougars' first win of the season. [player_tooltip player_id='2257412' first='Ezra' last='Mehling'] scored four TD (two rushing, two receiving) as he finished with 72 yards rushing on four carries + 57 yards receiving on two catches.

They took a 14-13 lead early in the fourth quarter before Moriarty grabbed the lead back at 19-14 midway through the frame.
