Hill put in a lot of work during his team's 41-14 win over Caroline. He carried the football 15 times for 251 yards and three touchdowns. At quarterback, he completed 4-of-9 passes for 33 yards. Hill is clearly an athlete playing quarterback, but putting the football in your best player's hands every play is never a bad idea.

Scott completed 23-of-32 passes for 290 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception in a 34-0 win over Cosby.

In three games this season, Scott has completed 46-of-61 passes for 874 yards, 11 touchdowns, and two interceptions. He recently posted his 3-game highlights.

Scott makes some deep passes outside the hash look easy. He has a strong arm and does a great job of leading the receivers. Now, he throws a couple of passes that are 50/50. But that's him trusting his receivers to either catch the ball or avoid an interception. You get a nice look at his mobility and escapability in the pocket. A good number of plays show him making plays under pressure and rolling out of the pocket.

Gatling carried the football five times for 177 yards and five touchdowns during a 68-0 win over Colonial Beach. On his first touchdown run for about 30 yards, he takes the handoff to the outside and runs through a tackle attempt at the legs. His acceleration to the outside was impressive on that play. For his size, he runs smoothly and has more wiggle to his game than I expected. Gatling gets to top speed fast and just glides down the field.

Monroe carried the football nine times for 194 yards and two touchdowns in his team's 47-7 win over Thomas Jefferson. If I'm Mr. Monroe, I'm putting his 55-yard touchdown run at the beginning of the highlight reel below, along with any other highlights he makes from multiple games. Monroe explodes through the hole, and by the time he hits the third level, no one can catch him. That is a great display of speed. Another run at the 38-second mark shows him giving the linebacker a little shake-and-bake, stiff-arming him to the ground with his left hand, planting his right hand to stay balanced, running through another tackle, and gaining another 20-plus yards before going down. His highlights include lots of second- and third-effort plays.
