Stat Sheet Standouts: Unranked Class of '29 Prospects

These unranked Class of 2029 prospects have stood out through the first two weeks of the season. As we head into Week 3, these sophomores have made their mark early this fall:    [player_tooltip player_id='2211230' first='Cy' last='Parento'] is a dual-threat quarterback for St. Henry. He's thrown for 211 yards and added 58 more on the ground through two games. His completion percentage needs to improve (48.3%), but these games were his first real taste of the varsity level. He has a lot of potential, however, and I expect him to develop more poise in the pocket and accuracy as his arm develops over the next couple of seasons. He's very athletic, and it's no surprise that he's a multi-sport athlete for St. Henry.     [player_tooltip player_id='2372059' first='Jaxon' last='Pierce'] plays all over the field for Barren County on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he's a potent playmaker who can line up out wide or in the backfield. So far, he's had the most success running the football. Through two games, he's been given 11 carries for 190 yards and three touchdowns. He's added a pair of catches for 40 yards and an additional score through the air. One of his receptions was a 15-yarder where he ran a simple hitch route, beat his defender, and caused a defensive pile-up that let him break free to pick up the gain.     [player_tooltip player_id='2372203' first='Marcus' last='Victoriano'] has been a consistent presence for Phelps along the defensive line this season. During the Hornets' opening 20-0 win over Pineville, Victoriano registered five tackles and a sack. He followed that up with a six-tackle, two-sack game as a bright spot for Phelps during a 49-12 loss against Shelby Valley. He's quickly proven himself as a reliable presence down low who can bust into the backfield and blow up a play behind the line of scrimmage. Victoriano plays his gaps well and has demonstrated that he can shrug off opposing offensive linemen in pursuit of the football.     [player_tooltip player_id='1840155' first='Jackson' last='Albright'] has been on my radar for a couple of months now. He's now starting left guard for Danville this season and has been a reliable presence for the Admirals in the trenches so far. Albright really impresses me on the offensive side of the ball, as he gives his quarterback enough time to get the ball out in pass protection by maintaining his block. He has demonstrated that he can perform down blocks at a high rate of success and can reach, kick, and pull block just as well. Helping push for one of the most prolific running backs in the state, the Admirals' OL have been enjoying the fruits of their labor as their offense has put up 121 points through two weeks so far.     [player_tooltip player_id='2372236' first='Crit' last='Stivers'] is a 6'3", 275-pound starting center for the Trinity Shamrocks. In two games, Trinity has made a name for itself on the national stage, and Stivers has been the centerpiece of the offensive line that has helped push for 550 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns against some of the best competition any team in Kentucky will face all season. Stivers' size doesn't hinder his athleticism, as he can lead block all the way to the outside. He stays low and uses great strength that often lets him win his matchups in the trenches. Stivers can perform numerous blocking techniques well to help create space for his ball carrier to run behind him.
