Last week, against Miami Jackson, Howard tallied five tackles, five for loss, 2.5 sacks, and pressured the quarterback on multiple occasions. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The junior uses his strength to steer blockers away and has a high motor to make plays. At the mid-season mark, Merrell is completing 70 percent of his passes for 724 yards and seven touchdowns.
