Post Week 2 Rapid Fire Evaluations

He's been lights out in the run game, showed aggression and technique and can flat out overwhelm defenders with his 6'7 270lb frame. True D1 upside that is only scratching the surface of his potential. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1613878' first='Easton' last='Hintz'] | QB | 2027 | Grand Haven | </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>For the first time since 2018, the Bucs are 2-0! A lot of it has to do with how Easton has orchestrated the offense. Through 2 weeks, he has already racked up the touchdowns and yards and continued to be efficient. Great timing, good decision making and has been sneaking out of the backfield to deal some real damage on the ground. Impressive start for Hintz and his Grand Haven team! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1613910' first='Ali' last='Saad'] | RB | 2028 | Dearborn | </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The numbers tell just part of the story for Dearborn's [player_tooltip player_id='1613910' first='Ali' last='Saad']. Through 2 weeks, he has 42 carries for 407 yards and 7 touchdowns. Digging into the film, he has displayed his elusiveness. Hitting spin moves and changing direction abruptly, defenders have had a really hard time squaring him up and wrapping him up. The speed and contact balance has been impressive as well with many missed tackles. Great work out of Saad so far in this young season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1687693' first='Camden' last='Noe'] | LB/RB | 2028 | Portage Central | </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Camden is one of the most highly sought after prospects in this class, and through 2 weeks, he has showed everything that a P4 LB should. 24 tackles, 4 TFLs and an interception, while contributing on offense as well. His read and react time is beyond any 2028 I have seen to this point. He flies to the ball and brings the power behind him. He has been really good in coverage as well, already having an interception and shutting down backs out of the backfield. Spectacular start to the season for Camden. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='2150851' first='Logan' last='Moore'] | DB | 2029 | Brighton | </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Logan was a kid I got the opportunity to watch in the offseason, and I was so excited to see what he could do this fall. Sure enough, he has been outstanding. From the safety position, he has been able to play sideline to sideline, react to what he's seeing and shut down the air game. Flips his hips quickly, turns and runs with receivers well and can close down the separation in a hurry. Super high ceiling for Logan, and he's showing why so far. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Brett Camp | LB | 2027 | Mason | </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mason pulled off the biggest upset so far in this young season, downing defending state champs DeWitt with relative ease. In that game, Brett racked up 12 tackles, 2 sacks and added a touchdown just for fun. A look at the film, he flowed well, read his keys and wasn't fooled by eye candy. He absolutely flew to the football and put his helmet on the ball play after play. Camp has showed clear instincts and the athleticism to make plays from sideline to sideline. Great start to the season for Camp and the Bulldogs. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='2250491' first='Ryan' last='Bennett'] | DE | 2029 | Richmond |</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ryan has really held his own against some tough competition. He shows great use of hands, understands how to use speed and power and creates havoc in the backfield. I love the bend and speed, and offensive tackles have struggled with it at times so far. He has been solid against the run as well, shooting gaps and creating piles at the point of attack. Great start for the youngster! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
