Through five games, the 2028 prospect has recorded 4.5 sacks and 4 quarterback hurries, demonstrating an ability to generate pressure from the defensive interior. Moreira-Gonzalez combines a compact, powerful frame with the versatility to contribute on both sides of the football, where he also plays guard. His early-season production suggests he can disrupt opposing offenses rather than simply occupy blocks. As the season progresses, Moreira-Gonzalez is a 2028 interior prospect worth keeping an eye on as his production and film continue to develop.

Check out Izaiah Moreira-Gonzalez's Owen J. Through the available midseason statistics, Hammonds has 23 tackles, 4 TFLs and 3 sacks in three games, while MaxPreps currently lists him as Clairton's leading sack producer. His 6'3", 240-pound frame gives him the size to create problems along the interior while his production demonstrates an ability to finish plays in the backfield. Hammonds' two-way ability at offensive tackle, guard and defensive tackle adds to his overall value as a 2027 prospect. With continued development, his combination of size, physicality and early production makes him an intriguing interior defender to monitor.

Check out Kasch Hammonds's Farrell High School on @Hudl https://t.co/JYEH7NFdkB #hudl
— Coach Josey (@Coach_Josey) September 30, 2026

Conner Taylor is putting together an impressive start to his high school career as a young interior defender for Coudersport. His production was highlighted by a 10-tackle performance earlier in the season, demonstrating his ability to consistently find the football from the defensive interior. At 5'10", 250 pounds, Taylor brings a strong, physical build to the defensive line while also contributing at tackle and guard. Through five games, Kiluta has recorded 1 sack and 1 quarterback hurry, with his sack accounting for three yards lost. While his current statistical production is more modest than some of the other prospects featured, his combination of size and positional versatility at tackle and defensive tackle gives him an intriguing developmental profile. Kiluta's ability to occupy space and use his massive frame makes him a player whose impact may not always appear fully in the box score.
