Georgia Small School Prospect Report: Week 2

I love how he plays in and around the pocket. He is poised and keeps plays alive without bailing on the pass. He has a quick release and an impressive ability to move the ball up and down. As a runner, he is effective in the scramble, but can also create his own yards and be schemed around in the run game. While the traits were there, he was raw. It has been truly impressive to see his growth, which has continued into his junior season. He is listed at 6'3 190 with a big arm. He has a long, whippy release and can put booming trajectory on the ball. He is one of the most productive receivers in GA through two weeks, and that should remain consistent over the year. He is a true pocket passer, doing his work from within the pocket. He is a big-armed player who releases the ball over the top. He gets the ball out fairly quickly and has the arm strength needed to touch each level of the field. He is a cut, athletic 5'8 170. He has exceptional foot speed, patience, and suddenness, which allows him to create his own yards and pick up nickel and dime yards with ease. When faced with traffic, he has run behind his pads and proven to be a tough tackle. He is a lean, loose athlete coming in at 6'0. He has impressive short-area quickness, allowing him to separate at critical points of the route. He can get open at each level of the field, and he shows good hands outside of his frame to execute on the ball. He is developed far beyond his competition, both physically and athletically. He is tough to tackle, and has long strides that make the field look smaller.
