Florida Is Loaded With Prospects - As We Watched In Week 4

Talk to any college coach across the country and they will tell you that when Monday and Tuesday arrive, the first thing they do is check what players made an impact in the Sunshine State.   When it comes to producing prospects, in every class, Florida is indeed a place where recruiting is something that is being done year-round, and with some of the best teams competing against one another, this is the state that certainly receives so much attention.   While we usually bring you daily prospect information throughout the year, it is during the football season when we spotlight the talent that is making a lasting impression every Monday and Tuesday – with a TEAM spotlight following on Wednesday.   With Andrew “Drew” Johnson and Marcus Benjamin bringing you daily prospect evaluations and the spotlight we shine on teams and players weekly, there is simply no other source that covers this state – from top to bottom – like we do.   On this Tuesday, we pick up where we left off, bringing you player performances from Week 4 that is not only viewed by players, high coaches and family, but college coaches at every level are also watching, printing out and using what we produce as key prospect information.   2028 – Brett Beardon, LB, Jacksonville Bolles. Part of a stellar junior class that the Bulldogs have, he has registered 27 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 1 pass breakup and 1 interception so far this young season. The 6'2, 220-pounder also makes it happen in the classroom (3.7 GPA).   2027 – JeKobi Brown, DB/RB, Clearwater. This defensive standout came up with 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, 3 tackles for loss and 6 total tackles.   2028 – Isaac Farling, RB, Mount Dora Christian. Another huge week for this junior who was first team all-state a year ago. The 5'11, 205-pounder had 215 yards on just 14 carries with 2 touchdowns. He is another student/athlete – with a 3.4 GPA.   2028 – Jhai Hitchcock, Athlete, Pinellas Park. Had a huge week in a win with 264 yards on just 11 carries with 3 touchdowns. This gifted junior also gets it done in the classroom with a 3.2 GPA.   2028 - [player_tooltip player_id='2075104' first='Johnathon' last='Jackson'], RB/WR, New Port Richey Gulf. In helping his team move to 3-1 on the season, he carried 14 times for 188 yards and scored twice. He also makes an impact in the classroom – with a 3.5 GPA.   2029 - [player_tooltip player_id='1659010' first='Peyton' last='Johns'], QB, Navarre. It has been a great start for this sophomore, who has put up 1,074 total yards so far. His 76 for 129 passing with 870 yards and 5 touchdowns along with the 204 yards on the ground with 2 scores has gotten this athletic prospect noticed.   2028 – Isaiah Johnson, OL/DL, Jacksonville Christ Church Academy. This versatile athlete registered 2 Quarterback Hurries, 10 total tackles and 6 tackles for loss. Also a basketball standout, he gets it done in the classroom (3.8 GPA) as well.   2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='2382237' first='Jeremiah' last='Lattier'], QB, St. Cloud. One of the top prospects in the central Florida area had a big week for the Bulldogs – with 12 completions (60 percent) for 264 yards and 3 touchdowns. The 6'3, 217-pounder is also an outstanding student (3.3 GPA).   2027 – Dylan Louthain, RB/WR, Freeport. This impressive athlete, who is a leader on the field, has also set an example by getting it done in the classroom (3.9 GPA). This past week, he carried 23 times for 194 yards and two scores.   2028 – Rontrez Loyd Jr., RB, Jacksonville Ed White. Had a huge Week 4 with 232 yards and 4 touchdowns. The 6'0, 215-pounder also holds a 3.5 GPA in the classroom.   2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='1647967' first='King' last='Manley'], DT, Sanford Seminole. In helping to lead the undefeated Seminoles on the defensive side of the ball, he has 17 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble and 2 sacks.   2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='2343671' first='Elijah' last='Nickerson'], QB, Orlando Lake Nona. The junior continued to impress this past week with a 18 of 25 evening for 209 yards, 2 Passing TDs, 5 rushes 29 yards and 1 Rushing TD. He had a 72% completion percentage. This impressive talent also gets it done in the classroom (3.9 GPA).   2029 – Max Oyarzun, K/P, Miami True North Classical Academy. This quality special teams performer showed what a solid punter/kicker can do for a team – 4/4 on point after tries, 1 field goal and 4 punts that helped to flip the field! He will also open doors with his 3.9 grade point average.   2027 – Canaan Page, SS/OLB, [player_tooltip player_id='2152281' first='Bradenton' last='IMG Academy']. In last week's contest, he pressured the quarterback a game-high 7 times, came up with 4 tackles and deflected 3 passes.   2030 – Jaziel Polanco, QB, Miami Immaculata LaSalle. This two-sport (basketball) freshman has turned heads so far this year for the Royal Lions. This past week he was on fire by going 20 of 25 for 271 yards and 3 touchdowns.   2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='2075122' first='Payton' last='Riley'], LB, Lakeland Christian. Has been impressive this season for a very solid program – with 20 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 1 pass breakup, 2 tackles for loss and 2 QB Pressures.   2028 – Hunter Rowley, QB, Jacksonville Cornerstone Classical Academy. In getting his team to 4-0, he threw for 269 yards and ran for 58 more with 2 touchdowns. The 6'0, 175-pounder gets it done in the classroom (3.6 GPA) as well.   2027 – [player_tooltip player_id='1682682' first='Wyatt' last='Smith'], DE, Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas. The Ohio State commitment and one of the best in the state added three more quarterback sacks to his total for the season along with seven tackles.   2027 – Camden Stancil, Athlete, Bradenton Bayshore. Part of the reason that this program continues to improve, his over 200 all-purpose yards included a passing TD and rushing TD and a defensive pass breakup.   2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='2130662' first='Terrance' last='Taylor Jr.,'] QB, Fort Myers Riverdale. This 6'4, 205-pounder had a tremendous Week 4 by going 16 of 18 for 272 yards and 30 rushing yards with 4 touchdowns. This amazing junior also has a 4.09 GPA in the classroom.   2027 – [player_tooltip player_id='1684048' first='Jeremiah' last='Thomas'], WR, Melbourne. The Bulldogs have several impressive football players, and this 6'1, 160-pounder is one of them. Had 5 catches for over 100 yards this past week. Another student/athlete who has a 3.7 GPA in the classroom.   2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='1592004' first='Caedon' last='White'], RB, Bradenton Manatee. This talented prospect had a good week – with 26 carries for 252 yards, 2 receptions for 30 yards and 5 touchdowns.
