[player_tooltip player_id='2213219' first='Walter' last='Wilson'] Father Ryan:

[player_tooltip player_id='2213219' first='Walter' last='Wilson'] Father Ryan:
The junior signal caller has had a solid start to the '26 campaign. Wilson shows a good comfort level in the pocket, even when being pressured which most young QB's don't have. He's also willing to attack the middle of the field, which is also an advanced trait for young QB's. He's got good height for a pocket passer and has the frame to put on some weight. Wilson has also shown some good movement skills and can make throws outside the pocket. As his footwork improves, he'll become an even more dangerous passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1317766' first='Sawyer' last='Phillips'] Beech:

[player_tooltip player_id='1317766' first='Sawyer' last='Phillips'] Beech:
Tall and lean pocket passer, who sees the field well and has looked comfortable in the pocket in his 1st two starts as the Beech QB. Through the 1st 2 games Beech has leaned on their explosive run game, but you can see the potential in the pass game with Phillips. He has a smooth and easy release allowing him to get the ball out on time. As the season moves on there should be plenty of opportunities for Phillips to exploit man coverage and see his passing numbers improve.

[player_tooltip player_id='1422904' first='Kason' last='Young'] East Robertson:

[player_tooltip player_id='1422904' first='Kason' last='Young'] East Robertson:
One of the most dangerous dual threats in the state, Young demands that you have to bring an extra man in the box to account for his athletic ability. Counters, power, or sweeps you can use him in a variety of ways in the run game. He shows solid arm talent, with a penchant for making off platform throws that some quarterbacks can't make. After the 1st 2 games he looks to be on his way to 3,000 total yds, in an offense that is tailor made to his strengths.

[player_tooltip player_id='906624' first='Jonathan' last='Fredericks'] Stratford:

[player_tooltip player_id='906624' first='Jonathan' last='Fredericks'] Stratford:
The transfer from Hillsboro has the Spartans off to a 2-0 start with wins over Clarksville Northeast and Stewarts Creek. Fredericks has good size at 6'1 190lbs with an easy release. He shows good decisiveness in the pocket and is an athletic runner who can make defenders miss on the 2nd level. He's gotten comfortable throwing the ball outside the numbers where he can exploit man coverage. Fredericks has help in the running game with the duo JD Stafford and [player_tooltip player_id='1030627' first='Santana' last='Frost'] who've had productive starts to the season. Fredericks currently holds an offer from Eastern Kentucky, and more offers could be on the way with a strong season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2071467' first='Chase' last='Angell'] Goodpasture:

[player_tooltip player_id='2071467' first='Chase' last='Angell'] Goodpasture:
The Goodpasture signal caller has gotten off to a good start leading the Cougars to wins over Glencliff and Maplewood. Angell has shown excellent touch especially on deep routes to his top target Tennessee commit Brandon Leavell. Angell has done an excellent job of exploiting man to man matchups and getting the ball out on time. He's also shown improved agility outside the pocket. As the opponents get tougher Goodpasture will need more big plays out of Angell if they want to make a return to the playoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1592519' first='Blake' last='Holton'] Donelson Christian:

[player_tooltip player_id='1592519' first='Blake' last='Holton'] DCA:
Holton operates a run heavy DCA offense but can move this offense through the air and with his legs. One of his biggest strengths is processing, he makes quick decisions and gets the ball out of his hands quickly before the defense can react. Holton is willing to push the ball down the field in places where many QBs wouldn't throw it. Sometime those throws lead to big gains, other times they lead to interceptions. He'll have to continue to make the easy throws, look easy, with an explosive run game in support.

Colton Overby Station Camp:

Colton Overby Station Camp:

The Station Camp signal caller has led the offense to 80 points in the 1st 2 games. The all-time Sumner County leading passer shows real poise in the pocket and keeps his eyes up when scanning the field even when there's pressure. Overby shows real touch and accuracy especially on short and intermediate routes. His ball skills are excellent as well, he can fool defenses in the play action game, a skill many young QB haven't developed. When he gets outside of the pocket he doesn't lose accuracy. He's willing to run with physicality when a play breaks down.
