There aren't many 2028 quarterbacks in Gwinnett County playing better than Mountain View's [player_tooltip player_id='2337061' first='Zion' last='Butler']. The big, gifted passer at Mountain View got his junior season off to an excellent start, leading the Bears to an early 2-0 record with giant wins over Discovery and Johns Creek. In an easy 39-0 week one win over Discovery, Butler threw for 11/19 for 147 yards and four touchdowns. In a comfortable 36-2 week two win over Johns Creek he was 15/23 for 172 yards and three more touchdowns. He's one of the region's top passers who looks like an easy Power Four quarterback prospect. He can stretch the field vertically, has been playing efficient football, and will be an easy addition to the next rankings update.

A sleeper dual-threat quarterback on the rise in Atlanta, Woods is a playmaker with his legs who can throw a soft, catchable ball down the field. He commands the offense, shows good footwork in the pocket, and throws with good timing. He's got some experience under his belt and is showing this fall as a junior that he'll push for All-Region status and lead Holy Innocents to a possible deep playoff run this winter. He's playing at high level and has his team off to an impressive 3-0 start. The talented 6-foot-1 200-pounder is currently 27/41 for 430 yards and seven touchdowns. He's also rushed for 102 yards and two more touchdowns. Woods and the HIE offense has scored at least 44 points in each of the first three games of the season.

A fast-rising junior quarterback to know in the Gainesville area, Greene is a physical runner with above-average size at 6-foot-2 185-pounds. He shows impressive arm talent and a gunslinger mentality. He's played well through the first three games of the season, throwing for 883 yards and seven touchdowns. He plays with confidence, believes in his ability, and still has his best football ahead of him. He's coming off a big game against Gilmer, leading his Flowery Branch Falcons to a 28-21 overtime victory. He threw for over 360 yards and and two touchdowns in the victory, and he'll now be added to the upcoming Prep Redzone rankings later this fall. If Greene continues to improve and play at a high level, don't surprised to see his recruitment pick up at the end of the season.

Another under the radar quarterback to know in Gwinnett County, Miller is off to a fantastic start to his junior season for the Spartans, leading his team to a quick 2-0 record while making big plays both through the air and with his legs. He didn't have his best game through the air in week one against North Hall, but he did account for two total touchdowns while creating plays in the rushing game. Miller played better in a week two win against Calhoun, throwing for over 200 yards and two touchdowns while taking off for 110 yards and one more score. He's a talented passer and a strong overall athlete. He's one of the best quarterbacks in the region and across the Norcross area.

A fast-rising junior quarterback to know south of Atlanta, Guinn has been one of the more productive 2028 quarterbacks across the state to start the 2026 season. The athletic passer has shown above-average arm talent and is playing at a very high level right now. One of the more talented quarterbacks in the region, Guinn is currently 56/86 for 977 yards and nine touchdowns with just one INT. He's also made plays with his legs, running for 86 yards and one more score on the ground. Leading his team to a strong 4-0 start, Guinn has thrown for at least 200 yards in three of his four games. He's also thrown for at least two touchdowns in three of his first four games. He'll be an easy addition to the latest 2028 rankings update after an impressive start to his junior season.
