Week 2 Offensive Standouts Moving the Needle

Here we will dive into some of the top offensive performances we have seen through week 2 of the young high school football season and some names that are popping early. He is a true deep threat playmaker that can separate over safeties, has strong hands across the middle in traffic and is not afraid to take a shot to make a big play and is going to be a steal at the next level. He has exploded onto the scene so far this year and this past week put up some insane numbers going for 247 yards receiving and 4 touchdowns and will look to pick up right where he left off this coming week. Look for him to enter into our ranks soon in the next update and be a key name of note.     Brennan came onto the scene last year and enjoyed a breakout season landing him on our 2028 rankings release and is one of the top passers in the class we have across the state. He is a good athlete back in the pocket, can lead his receivers open in small windows and is not afraid to take a shot to deliver a ball downfield. Brennan is another signal caller in full command of this Emmett offense that has been impressive to start the season and who should be making plenty of noise over the next few months. In his strong start to his Junior season he has thrown for nearly 500 yards and 7 touchdowns and should be in the 2,500+ passing mark by the seasons end and start drawing some real college interest.     One of the top rising passers across Idaho, the talented Junior signal caller has the size, arm talent and upside for the next level and should be drawing plenty of college interest here soon and checks into our ranks as one of the top passers in the state. He has shown he can throw the deep ball, navigate the pocket under pressure while keeping his eyes downfield and can throw from various arm angles and off-platform outside the pocket. He has been off to a very strong start to begin his junior season and has tossed nearly 400 yards and 4 touchdowns through the first two weeks and has clear full command of this offense.     Stern has long been one of the top athletes in the state and is very dangerous behind center as he can do lots of damage with both his arm and his legs in the ground game. He has a live arm and is not afraid to take shots downfield, throws into tight windows with zip and spin on the ball and has shown he can take off and run on designed plays and when protection breaks down. He is truly a dual-threat passer back there that is going to be another late steal here for a college program. Through the first two weeks of play he has thrown for 497 yards and 5 touchdowns, while doing damage with his legs as well.     Almost no ball carriers have been off to as hot of a start as the senior running back in Riggins. He has been a force to take down, runs hard inside and has some sneaky third level speed in the clear while able to break tackles in the open field and force poor angles in space. He is a fluid back with good vision, cutback abilities and can catch the ball out of the backfield with ease showing natural ball carrying abilities. He has rushed for 347 yards and 6 scores through the first two weeks and is going to be near the 1,000 yard rushing marker by the midpoint of the season and is looking to be having a truly special breakout senior year for Salmon River.
