Haworth had a nice outing against Fountain Fort Carson in Week 0. He measures in at 6'0 18-pounds. He went 12/26 for 274 yards, 46.2% completion rate, 3 TDs, with 10 carries for 49 yards and 1 rushing touchdown. Good athletic ability due to very good balance, good acceleration, change of direction, and speed. Good throw power and a good release. High arches on deep passes. Haworth is a backfield creator, consistently extending plays and using his very good off-platform throwing ability to connect with receivers downfield. On a TD play, he used his good rollout speed, readjust then launch the ball downfield accurately with defenders in his face. Had another similar throw like that as well. Good ball placement skills too. I love Haworth's ability to extend plays and keep looking for the open man. This will be a great developing season for him!

McBroom had 16 carries for 100 yards, with 2 kickoff returns for 117 yards and 1 touchdown. His longest return was 85 yards. He also got the 2-point conversation resulting in an octopus at the high school level. McBroom has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, balance, change of direction, and speed. Very good vision. If an inside hole was covered, he'd used his explosive jump cuts to pivot outside for a decent size gain. Smooth explosive cuts while maintaining full speed throughout, not losing any. Very good inside and outside running. McBroom does a great job creating yards after contact. Uses his very good contact balance to consistently churn forward for extra yards or spin around and keep his momentum going. He's an explosive athlete that thrives with the ball in his hands. The kick return TD is a great example of that. McBroom is gearing up for a big season ahead.

Escamilla measures in at 5'7 172-pounds playing MLB for Douglas County. In the first game back against Sand Creek, he had 14 total tackles (7 solo, 7 assisted), 2 TFL, with 1 QB pressure. Escamilla has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, good balance, change of direction, speed, and lateral quickness. Good read and reaction speed. Escamilla trusts what he sees and attacks the ball. Does a good job stuffing gaps and attacking the backfield. Good get off and block shedding ability. Explosive blitz take off speed. Escamilla will squeeze through gaps and get the TFL. Good range. Uses his very good competitive toughness and pursuit to consistently chase after defenders and get the tackle. A nice opening stat line for a linebacker looking to boost his stock.

Ragan measures in at 6'4 220-pounds. The senior defensive end had 10 total tackles (4 solo, 6 assisted), 2 TFL, with 1 sack. Ragan has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, change of direction, good speed, and balance. Good initial quickness out of his stance. Good hand speed to create contact first. Very good bend around the edge. Very good flexibility. Very good hand strength and hand placement. Good get off and block shedding skills. Disengages from the block and attacks the ballcarrier. Ragan has a powerful bull rush to knock offensive tackles off their anchor. Relentless pursuit as well, chasing ball carriers out in open space to get the tackle. I'm very excited to see how Ragan does this season. He's started off nicely!

Katsoff measures in at 6'1 190-pounds. In his first game back, he had 6 receptions for 70 yards with 1 touchdown with 1 KR for 53 yards. Katsoff has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, jumping, balance, good change of direction, and acceleration. Very good release against both the press jam and off coverage. He has very good separation quickness as well. Uses his speed or fights through contact to get open. Very good ball tracking and catching. He has strong hands to hold onto the ball while defenders try to rip it out. Good ball adjustment and very good body control. Katsoff did great in short yardage situations in this game. He even got a touchdown on a bubble screen. Also got some time playing as a kick returner showing his explosive returning skills. He's a breakout candidate this season to watch for.
