Less than two weeks out from the start of the Missouri 2026 high school football season. Here are some transfers to watch who look like they will help make their new teams better with the talent they'll be bringing to the field.

Tyrell Johnson 6'1" 186 DB 2028
Old Team: East St. Louis (IL)
New Team: Lift For Life
- A lockdown cornerback with good size, speed, and who plays physical. Tyrell comes across the river and brings good experience with him to add to an already talented defensive backfield. He can play both corner and safety, has good ball skills, and plays well against the run. Is on the radar of multiple D1 schools and has received a bunch of game day invites.

[player_tooltip player_id='1590180' first='Bryon' last='Buster'] 6'4" 195 WR 2027
Old Team: St. Michael the Archangel
New Team: Raytown
- One of the more underrated receiver prospects in a talented 2027 WR class in Missouri. Committed to Western Illinois. Buster is a big target who can stretch the field, but is also valuable in the short and intermediate passing game. He's also a good blocker. Had over 700 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior for his old team. He should put up similar numbers or better with his new team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1251169' first='Tavren' last='Williams'] 6'1" 170 QB 2027
Old Team: North Point
New Team: Timberland
- An exciting playmaker and dual threat quarterback who makes the trip across town to his new school. Williams has been a contributor and played varsity since he was a freshman. He has a good arm and does a good job finding the open receiver and delivering the ball. He's dangerous on rollouts and can pull the ball down and pick up big yards.

[player_tooltip player_id='1352427' first='Grant' last='Hyde'] 6'1" 230 RB 2027
Old Team: Rock Bridge
New Team: Southern Boone
- Brings his powerful running and reliable receiving ability that has had him on D1 college radars for the last year. Grant is a good combo size, speed and skills that makes him a big time threat in the run and passing of an offense. Has good vision, quick feet, and does a good job picking up yards after contact. He's a good athlete that will instantly make his new team better.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188386' first='Graham' last='McKim'] 6'2" 190 QB 2027
Old Team: Rock Bridge
New Team: Southern Boone
- Joins his old teammate Hyde on his new team. McKim has been one of the more talented quarterbacks in Mid-Missouri since he was a freshman, but he has played behind some other very talented QBs since that time. Now he should be able to showcase his talent ability. He's a good athlete, but his strength is in his vision, decision making and making consistent accurate throws. Solid arm strength and ball placement should be in display for the Eagles all season.
