Nature Coast Tech Sharks Continue To Make Major Strides

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Talk to Brooksville Nature Coast Tech head football coach <strong>Chris Hawley</strong> about the 2025 season and he will give you some reasons why the Sharks finished 10-3.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While there was plenty of success during a district championship year, playing consistent football every week was something that this team needed to work on.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Losses to state-rated Groveland South Lake and state power Sarasota Booker in the third round of the state playoffs were challenges that this team didn't meet and over time, they will need to rise to the occasion if they want to make a legitimate run at a state title appearance.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The mid-season loss to a 5-6 Land O'Lakes is something that cannot happen if they want to be regarded as a rising power, and this team understands that.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With a number of quality players coming back, this is a year that things could be different, and after a strong off season, there is reason to believe that this could be one of the school's best teams.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Some of the returners who will be watched from the start of the season includes Class of 2027 prospects <strong>Tyler “T.D.” Davis </strong>(LB), <strong>Joseph Lizor</strong> (DE) and <strong>Dominick Picariello II</strong> (DB).
