Best Non-Offered 3A College Prospects

<!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Going into the 2026 season, there are several 3A prospects that are still waiting to breakthrough on the college scene but display the talent and upside to warrant bigger and more looks. Below are ten prospects to watch for this Fall that could boost their stocks and play their way into more college opportunities. </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>(Disclaimer: Some of these prospects already hold D2 or D3 offers but I feel they are FCS worthy and deserve bigger interest. Their performances this coming season will dictate a lot on where each prospects recruitment may go.)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1142033' first='Sam' last='Bradley'] - Cascade</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- Bradley has been on our radar for the better part of three years now but he has yet to breakthrough with college offers, however that could change after the coming season. I think it should as this Mid-Tennessee signal caller brings several next level traits to the field along with good throwing mechanics that could flourish on the college stage. Bradley is a pure pocket passer that has shown steady improvement with his arm power while continuing to enhance his football knowledge, especially throwing into windows. He is also a deceptive athlete that maneuvers the pocket well while keeping his eyes down field. This coming Fall season could be his most productive yet and if Bradley continues taking his game to higher levels, potential FCS opportunities could come his way.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- - - - -&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>(QB/S) [player_tooltip player_id='1565598' first='Kaiden' last='Brewster'] - Meigs Co.&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- Brewster returns for the 2026 season as one of the best playmakers coming out of the 3A ranks but I'm not sure if playing quarterback is his future in college. That depends on how much he has progressed his passing over the coming season and how much he has filled out his frame. What this East Tennessee product does bring to the field is athleticism and speed, which are two traits that translate well to the next level at receiver or safety. I see strong potential with Brewster at either of those positions but college coaches would be taking a guess and banking on his ability to develop somewhere other than quarterback because that's where the Tigers staff needs him. I do see scenarios where college programs, including D1 teams will take a flyer on Brewster to develop him and see what they can pull out of this natural athlete with tremendous upside.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- - - - -&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>(WR) [player_tooltip player_id='2148269' first='Jackson' last='Savarese'] - Gatlinburg-Pittman</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- Savarese may hold a few D2 offers at the moment but I think he is much better than that and he may just prove that by the end of the 2026 season. The Highlanders senior receiver runs very well, showing the ability to come off the line and into his routes quickly then Savarese flashes his strong hands. What could be holding back bigger programs is his size. This East Tennessee wideout stands only 5'9, maybe 5'10 while needing to add more weight and overall body mass. He can't fix his height but he can get bigger, which I think he will do in the future. I see a strong option in the slot here with Savarese. Someone that can get behind the defense and develop into a home run threat. Standridge is a technique sound, athletic interior blocker that could develop at both guard spots or even the middle at center. The Tigers senior O-lineman displays lateral quickness on film along with good enough power to hold up in pass protection while moving people off the ball. There is a lot to like about Standridge and how he plays the game. He won't be able to fix his height but Standridge can certainly add more power and weight. Continuing to enhance his skill as well is something the Tigers big man can control himself.&nbsp; I could see him starting his college career at a D2 school but get on the field early and establish himself as a key starter then potentially transferring up towards an FCS program one day.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- - - - -&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>(OL) [player_tooltip player_id='1635686' first='Blaze' last='Parker'] - Fairview</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- One of the more hidden gems coming from the 3A ranks this year is this Mid-Tennessee lineman that goes both ways but I see a brighter future in college on the offensive line. Parker is a wide bodied, physical interior O-line prospect that could develop into a mauling run blocker in college with higher levels to his game that the Yellow Jackets big man has yet to tap into. Parker is a solid athlete that can get better in that area. He already shows the power profile to hold up well early on in college but must continue to get bigger and stronger to sustain a strong career on the college stage. I do see a path towards the FCS level for this Mid-Tennessee big man but Parker must dominate his opponents much more this Fall while showing progression with his game.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- - - - -&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>(LB) [player_tooltip player_id='2251064' first='Nasir' last='Hayward'] - Tyner Academy</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- New to Tyner Academy this Fall season, Hayward is someone I'm bullish on and think has next level abilities but has yet to see those elusive offers come through. That could change over the next few months where I foresee Hayward leading his Rams defense in tackles while contending for All-State honors. Sporting excellent size (6'2 215) with room to get bigger and stronger, Hayward has the look of a future college guy that fits well in the middle as a potential hard hitting run stuffer. I see untapped athleticism with this senior defender as well where Hayward could be used off the edge on occasions to rush the passer. There is a lot to like about Moore and who he can become on the college playing field. The Mustangs senior stands about 6'3 215 pounds with tons of room to get bigger while also sporting a versatile skill set that allows him to rush off the edge or work the middle. I see FCS level potential with this guy but to get there, Moore must display more speed and explosion this Fall while continuing to enhance his game in a variety of areas. This linebacker is certainly someone to follow this season as a potential breakthrough prospect that might be able to garner bigger interest due to his athletic and physical upside.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- - - - -&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>(S/WR) [player_tooltip player_id='1881268' first='Jadarius' last='Hinton'] - Tyner Academy</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- A natural athlete with upside to develop on either side of the ball in college, we personally like Hinton best on defense where he can become a hard hitting, rangy safety on the collegiate gridiron. When you turn on his junior film, you do see a player that can generate big plays with the ball in his hands, so I definitely can see a path for Hinton to play receiver in college. Doing my scouting, I just like what he can do better at safety as I see a potential All-Conference caliber player as long as Hinton continues to develop in the right direction. Hinton does need to get bigger and stronger while adding a step or two to his speed. Prep</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- Watkins had a breakout junior season that saw him produce 57 tackles with 5 interceptions and two of them returned for touchdowns but the Sentinels defensive back has yet to gain those elusive college offers. Part of the reason I believe is because Watkins needs further development with his game, especially his initial burst and overall speed. This Chattanooga area defender has excellent instincts and he is willing to come up and tackle in run support. He just needs to enhance his athletic skill set and show faster game play and if he does that this season, I could see some FCS programs gain interest. It will be interesting to see how much Watkins has progressed over the off-season months and into the Fall football year and how much more of an impact he can make on the field.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- - - - -&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>‘28 (S) [player_tooltip player_id='1409373' first='Brandon' last='Powell'] - Whites Creek</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- The Cobras have several college quality prospects on this year's roster with Powell being one of them. This 6 '1 safety has yet to break through with offers but that should change after the coming season, especially if Powell shows enhanced instincts and speed. What stands out about this Nashville area defender is his size (6'1 170) and physicality along with the potential to become a ball hawk down the road. Watching his film up to this point, I like Powell best as a boundary safety but I can see athletic upside to play the field with continued enhancement with his game. His ability to get downhill quickly and make plays versus the run is what could get him on the field early in his college career but Powell is still far from a finished product.
