Prep Redzone Arkansas is pleased to introduce the first set of player rankings for the class of 2030. Today we begin a series of introductions of players who are on the first list of player rankings for the class of 2030.

[player_tooltip player_id='2154121' first='Damian' last='Garcia']-Wide Receiver-Rogers-6'0” 152-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='2154121' first='Damian' last='Garcia'] has great speed at the wide receiver spot for the Mounties. He is one of those receivers who will mix his speed with sharp route running to create separation from opposing defensive backs. Garcia has the instincts to work his way open for his quarterback when the signal caller is scrambling. Meanwhile, he will stretch the field vertically and is a wideout to watch out for over the next couple of seasons. The potential exists to see playing time on Saturdays in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='2044848' first='Kingston' last='Crockett']-Wide Receiver/Linebacker-Marked Tree-5'10” 149-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='2044848' first='Kingston' last='Crockett'] is a versatile prospect who has the potential to see playing time on both sides of the ball. On the offensive side of the ball, Crockett is a crisp route runner who uses his route running to create separation from opposing defensive backs. Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball, he is a linebacker who defeats blocks and gets to the ball carrier. Crockett is another 2030 prospect with the potential to see playing time at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2241534' first='Owen' last='Hood']-Edge/Tight End-Bentonville-6'2” 215-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='2241534' first='Owen' last='Hood'] is one of the most intriguing prospects in the class of 2030. Hood is a prospect coming off of the edge who explodes into the offensive backfield. He sheds blocks quickly and disrupts the opponent's rushing as well as passing attacks. Hood is the type of defender who does not give up on a play. He gets sideline-to-sideline well and is certainly a player to watch out for as the 2026 season fires up. I expect big things from Hood over the next few years.

[player_tooltip player_id='2248672' first='Tye' last='Thornton']-Linebacker-Valley View-5'11” 210-Pounds

The number of talented prospects that the Valley View Blazers produce each season is impressive to say the least. [player_tooltip player_id='2248672' first='Tye' last='Thornton'] is another talented linebacker who will disrupt and wreak havoc on opposing offenses over the next few years. Thornton reads the play well and is always around the ball carrier. He uses his quickness to his advantage to shed blocks and get to the ball carrier. He is a player with the potential to see playing time on Saturdays in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='2138596' first='Nyeim' last='Sutton']-Defensive Back-Fayetteville-5'10” 150-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='2138596' first='Nyeim' last='Sutton'] plays in the secondary with a chip on his shoulder. He reads the opposing quarterback and wide receivers well. Sutton plays the ball well in the air. He has no trouble separating the ball from the ball carrier. He is the type of defensive back who brings down the ball carrier and will not make a business decision when it comes to bringing down receivers or running backs. Sutton is a prospect to watch out for with the Purple Dogs over the next few years. I expect big things from him in the future.
