1-3A INSIDE LOOK: Breakout Candidates

<p>This is the final week without Arkansas high school football, as it returns on August 28. In this report, we give you a breakout candidate from each program in the 1-3A.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Mansfield:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2337847' first='Silas' last='Burton'] is going to garner more attention this fall. He had a strong 2025 sophomore season where he rushed for 685 yards and eight touchdowns while averaging 10 yards per carry. He'll split starting time but will still see extensive carriers where his vision and ability to make defenders miss will be on display.</p>   <p>Note - No Social Media Found</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Charleston:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2247742' first='Finn' last='Schmalz'] takes over as the starting running back and emerged in the playoffs last season. He's a physical gap runner with solid contact balance who will break through tackles at the point of attack. Last year, he racked up 41 receptions for 656 yards and 10 touchdowns. He's a solid route runner and a reliable option for their signal caller.</p>   <p>Note - No Social Media Found</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Greenland:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2337875' first='Kyle' last='Farquharson'] takes over as the starting quarterback. He'll bring solid athletic ability to expand the offense for Greenland. His work ethic on and off the field is evident. He'll see playing time at both as his physicality brings the potential to expand the Tigers offense. He brings experience, physicality, and tone-setting mentality to the offensive line. Holmes can angle defenders in the run game and drive out of gaps.
