They are returning several key starters from the red hot team of a year ago, and have a few prospects in the lower classes that are amongst the best in the state. [player_tooltip player_id='1954248' first='Dylan' last='Miller'] returns under center after taking the conference by storm a year ago, and [player_tooltip player_id='1664452' first='Chaz' last='Samuel'] looks to be one of the best prospect in our 2029 class. He has good size at 6'2 and elite speed that has attracted a number of colleges interest. Harris even picked up a couple of offers including one from Kentucky State earlier this week. His speed and blocker awareness are what stands out most in my opinion. Rarely do you see him get beat in his pass coverage. I could see why more schools are taking notice as he had 34 solo tackles a season ago. Solaita had offers and overtures from a number of FCS schools after his breakout junior campaign. A 6'4 hybrid linebacker/edge rusher, if you do not get your hands on him initially he is a very difficult to block. He is quick/patient running back that put a number of defenders on skate last season. Love the way he jukes and cuts to the open, this kid is a star in the making. He will be a much needed addition as he stepped up a year ago with 7 touchdown receptions. Powell can play and he earned all district honors as well. Where I think he will serve the Stallions best is at corner or safety, I was able to see his athletic ability up close at our Spring showcase. I watched him during our 1vs1s and held up quite well in coverage. Where he thrives is in the run game, good blocker awareness and they way he punishes running backs is fun to watch.
