PRZVA Team Preview: Loudoun Valley Vikings

Loudoun Valley was 1 game away from states with their two losses coming to crosstown rival Loudoun County. The Vikings had one of the most explosive offenses in the state last year averaging 40 points per game. They return a lot of firepower offensively and a stingy defense that allowed just 13 points per contest. Last fall he was a first team all region selection with over 20 total touchdowns. He has really come into his own, earning a lot of college interest with more offers on the way. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A dual threat playmaker, he is fun to watch when under durress making plays. For three years Ethan has gashed opponents on the ground and in the passing game, he had over 2,000 total yards last fall. 25 rushing touchdowns, 2 receiving scores and 3 pick sixes, Lafolette is having an all time career for Loudoun Valley.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The young man explodes out of the backfield and ranks 86th overall in our 2027 class. He knows how to get open and catches the ball with his hands not his body. He is coming off a second team all state selection at 6'3 275 lbs.. Oliver is a mean and physical he is a prototype lineman. Fun to watch him knock down defenders and then get to the next level looking for more. He always seems to be chasing the play as he tends to pancake his first assignment. A couple of Division 3 offers have come his way this offseason but to me he is a d2 or higher prospect. One of the more athletic kids I watched on tape, he picked off two passes and had a fumble return for a touchdown. He is very impressive so fast on the outside and he can rush the passer a bit too. He shows some explosiveness carrying the rock and he made some plays on their special teams too.
