Playmakers Association prospect camp: Top Playmakers Pt. 2

One of the premier training and player development programs in Michigan hosted a joint prospect camp with Godwin Heights at Carl P. Bahre Stadium. It was a highly competitive camp that consisted of individual drills, 1 on 1s, 3 over 2 and ended with some 7v7 action. Below is the second group of playmakers that really stood out! Essa Kellah, @ CoachKNoDuke    Jackson is another prospect with a legit track and field background. He is a springy athlete with good speed and agility. Aiden did really well operating in space on the underneath routes. Using his size and agility to his advantage to get to his spots quicker than defenders. With his speed he is still able to take the top off of the defense, which he did a couple times for big plays during the 1v1 and 3 over 2 sessions.     I had not yet seen Ian live in action at all, I came away really impressed by his overall performance. He was very solid at the CB position, covering slot and outside receivers. I would consider him a more physical CB that likes to get his hands on at the LOS when needed. He didn't fall for any fools gold or double moves thrown at him, instead stayed true to his technique throughout the entire camp. Ian is definitely a prospect to keep your eyes on in the coming years!       This high octane prospect from the 27 class will really turn heads this upcoming season. Jeremiah comes off the edge with a vengeance but also doubles as on offensive tackle. He looked really sharp at this camp, coming in with a high motor and some really tight mechanics for his height standing at 6'5. Lee doesn't have a thick frame but is still able to generate loads of power out of his stance. He has great length that he uses to disrupt the backfield even if he is somehow stonewalled.     This silky-smooth receiver prospect continues to make steady improvements year after year. With a good mix of athleticism and agility, Martise is able work himself through zone coverages to make himself available for his QB. His fluid footwork was on display as he had a lot of success working the middle of the field for most of his receptions. Raphael has had success playing as a slot and outside receiver.     Elden is a prospect with a really nice build who immediately passes the eye test. Grover plays more as a bruising back, but his swift footwork was on full display during the individual and 1 on 1 portions of the camp. I really appreciate how he plays the RB position with very good leverage and pad level. He also showcased his ability to be a threat in the pass game, as he continuously freed up space during routes and hauled passes in against multiple different types of defenders.     Josiah is a hybrid linebacker/edge that can really get the job done at either position. He is agile and nimble enough to play as a second level defender. While also being strong and physical enough to play with his hand in the dirt. His ability to play out in space as a linebacker was evident, whether it was tracking the near hip of a ball carrier to make a tag or squatting on a route from a running back.
