<p><strong>CARSON</strong></p>

<p>Carson features the best quarterback in the City Section in Georgetown commit [player_tooltip player_id='569767' first='Chris' last='Fields III'], who passes for 2031 yards with 29 touchdowns and ran for 958 yards with 13 touchdowns. Carson also features three really good returning defensive backs in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1717705' first='Bennie' last='Saulter']</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1698940' first='Michael' last='O'Dell']</strong> and <strong>Darren Panton</strong>. Saulter has offers from San Diego State and Cal among others. </p>

<p>Valley Christian also won a CIF championship last season and returns quarterback <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1684839' first='Graham' last='Lunzer']</strong> who threw for 2065 yards with 23 touchdowns and ran for 14 touchdowns last season. Lunzer lost a lot of his weapons at receiver, but <strong>Byron Louis</strong> is back and should get a lot of targets. </p>

The Timberwolves had their starting quarterback from last season transfer but <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2105920' first='Caden' last='Jacobs']</strong> may be competing for the starting job. <strong>Bert Chubb</strong> is a returning receiver to watch and <strong>Elliot Kwon</strong> is a defensive back to keep an eye on. </p>

<p>Hosts Ocean View are led by returning starting quarterback <strong>Dean Northam</strong>. The Seahawks feature a ton of two-way skill guys including All-CIF WR/DB <strong>Trevor Vaivao</strong> and sophomore <strong>Elijah Stokley</strong>. Senior safety <strong>Greg Gates</strong> had 52 tackles and two interceptions last season and is back for Ocean View. </p>

<p>La Serna returns its very athletic quarterback <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2106849' first='Grady' last='Long']</strong> who had 25 touchdowns last season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1956945' first='Landon' last='Armenta']</strong> had over 1,000 yards receiving last season with 15 touchdowns and is back along with UC Davis commit [player_tooltip player_id='2241005' first='Etoagwara' last='Onyenegecha']. <strong>Jordan Bonilla</strong> is another productive playmaker who is back and sophomore <strong>Kenai Summage</strong> was excellent in a recent passing tournament. </p>

Senior <strong>Fysher Jamieson</strong> is expected to be the starting quarterback and <strong>Ford Wooten</strong> could be a top target for him. <strong>Aidan Faraj</strong> is a returning running back who can catch balls out of the backfield and <strong>Quinn Mulkerin</strong> leads the defense. </p>

<p>Marina has a new offensive coordinator in former Huntington Beach head coach <strong>Brett Brown</strong>. <strong>Carson Hunnicutt</strong> had 1026 yards receiving with seven touchdowns and earned several postseason honors for Marina last season. <strong>Ben Ramos</strong> is returning at running back but they didn't use him a ton in the passing game last season. <strong>Shea Putney</strong> is another receiver to watch for the Vikings. <strong>Gage Rinaldi</strong> and <strong>Bishop Sherwood</strong> lead Marina's defense, which will need to create some more turnovers this season.</p>

Torrance has some intriguing returning receivers in <strong>Isaac Mora, </strong> <strong>Ashton Bradley</strong> and <strong>Marcus Daley.</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1605660' first='Vaughn' last='Reinert']</strong> is back at running back and had some interceptions on defense too.</p>

<p>Pacifica has a new quarterback in <strong>Joey Pham-Ngoy</strong>. <strong>Max Salas</strong> is the leading returning receiver for the Mariner and <strong>Gabe Frias</strong> is expected to have a bigger role in the offense this year. <strong>Zack Dickison</strong> had 71 tackles last season with three interceptions and is back to lead the defense. <strong>Christian Galvez</strong> and <strong>Michael McGuigan</strong> are two linebackers to keep an eye on for Pacifica.</p>
