Meet Georgia's Top 2031 Quarterbacks to Watch

Every recruiting cycle has a group of quarterbacks who separate themselves through leadership, football IQ, and the ability to elevate everyone around them. While the Class of 2031 is still in its early stages, these five young signal callers have already established themselves as names to know across Georgia youth football. With GFL competition, national exposure, and elite offseason training, each quarterback enters the 2026 season with plenty of momentum. Momentum is building quickly for [player_tooltip player_id='2068032' first='Mj' last='Whitt']. The Gainesville GFL quarterback recently earned an invitation to the prestigious Under Armour Middle School Game for eighth graders, a recognition reserved for some of the nation's top young talent. Whitt combines athleticism with confidence in the pocket and has shown the ability to make plays both inside and outside of structure. His arm talent, competitive nature, and continued development have made him one of the fastest-rising quarterbacks in the 2031 class. The Under Armour invitation is another indication that Whitt's game is beginning to receive national attention. [player_tooltip player_id='2165484' first='Avery' last='Edwards'] continues to emerge as one of the most intriguing quarterbacks in the 2031 class. Edwards possesses the tools coaches look for at the position—good mechanics, strong decision-making, and the confidence to challenge defenses at every level of the field. As he continues to gain experience and refine his game, Edwards has all the ingredients to become one of the breakout quarterbacks to watch this season. His steady growth and consistency have put him firmly in the conversation among Georgia's top young signal callers. Buford has built a reputation for developing winners, and [player_tooltip player_id='2218992' first='Cody' last='Elliott'] now steps into that tradition as the Wolves' quarterback. Elliott brings confidence, toughness, and leadership to the position. Playing within one of Georgia's most competitive youth football environments will give him plenty of opportunities to showcase his development throughout the season. If he continues to progress, don't be surprised to see his name climb higher on recruiting watch lists over the next few years. Now leading Parkview GFL, [player_tooltip player_id='1702291' first='Jaxon' last='Felton'] enters the season as one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the state. His combination of arm strength, mobility, and football intelligence allows him to stress defenses in multiple ways. Whether attacking through the air or creating when the pocket collapses, Felton has shown the ability to make explosive plays. Evaluators have praised his athleticism and natural feel for the position, making him one of the most exciting young quarterbacks to follow this fall. When the conversation turns to the best quarterbacks in the Class of 2031, [player_tooltip player_id='1693199' first='King' last='Holland'] is a name belongs at the very top. The Grayson GFL standout has quickly built a reputation as one of Georgia's most complete young signal callers. A natural left-handed quarterback, Holland combines elite football IQ with impressive arm talent, routinely dissecting defenses before the snap and delivering strikes with outstanding ball placement and velocity. He doesn't simply rely on athleticism—he wins with anticipation, precision, and an advanced understanding of the game well beyond his years. Scouts have consistently praised his poise, leadership, work ethic, and ability to command an offense, calling him one of the nation's top young quarterbacks. What separates Holland is his ability to make every throw on the field while remaining calm when the pocket breaks down. He extends plays without forcing them, keeps his eyes downfield, and consistently puts his teammates in position to succeed. Whether it's a perfectly placed deep ball or a quick read over the middle, Holland plays with the confidence and composure of a quarterback far beyond middle school. The 2031 quarterback class is loaded with talent, but these five signal callers have already positioned themselves among the names everyone should know entering the season.
