As we approach the season, we have begun a new round of rankings updates. The latest class to be updated in Kentucky is the incoming senior class of 2027. With our newest Top 250 being released for the class, I will be taking some time to break them down by position. Driver is coming off a very strong junior year in which he led his team in receiving with 49 catches for 875 yards and 11 touchdowns in 15 games. He is a matchup nightmare for opposing defensive backs. Seneca is able to use his speed and smooth breaks in his routes to create separation, and when defensive backs are able to stick with him, he uses his high catch radius and athleticism to bring in contested catches with ease. Driver also ran the ball 25 times for 116 yards and three touchdowns as a junior, and made a big impact on defense, recording 67 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, three sacks, and a team-high five interceptions (two returned for touchdowns). Hager is a big, athletic tight end who is very impressive after the catch, using his strength to break tackles with ease and speed to get up the field in a hurry to pick up big gains. He has also shown the ability to use his speed to create separation in the deep passing game. Hunt is used frequently on the outside where he is able to use his speed to blow by receivers and use his large frame to serve as an easy target down the field for his quarterback. He has also shown the ability to use quick breaks in his routes to create easy separation in the short/intermediate passing game. Max also returned a kickoff for a touchdown as a junior, and recorded 28 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. In 13 games, Pitzer caught 17 passes for 349 yards and four touchdowns. Pitzer is a very reliable vertical threat down the seam as he is able to use his speed to create separation and then make catches away from his body without breaking stride. He is also impressive after the catch, using his speed to get up the field in a hurry to pick up extra yards. Owen also scored a rushing touchdown, and recorded 56 tackles and a sack as a junior. As a junior, Hart caught 16 passes for 190 yards and four touchdowns. He is a very reliable short yardage/middle of the field target as he has the toughness and strong hands to make catches through contact followed by the strength as a ball carrier to break tackles to pick up extra yards. Hart has also shown the speed to pose as a vertical threat down the field. Conrad also scored two rushing touchdowns as a junior and made an impact on defense, finishing the year with 47 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks.
