Greenfield Central Scrimmage: Top Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Greenfield Central held a four-team scrimmage on Tuesday night; among the teams were Seymour, Greenfield Central, Decatur Central and Cardinal Ritter. All four teams featured plenty of prospects on the field, and we were on-hand for the event. Hester has a cannon for an arm. He hits receivers in stride on the deep ball, throws the touch pass with excellent accuracy, and can drop it in the bucket downfield. Good release and trigger, can roll out and throw on the run. Needs to develop consistency, but his upside is through the roof. I loved Hunter's tenacity, pursuit, range and instincts especially on defense where all indications are that he will start this season. Hunter is a hitter who can quickly close on the ball, be very disruptive with his use-of-hands, and is quick to come out of a backpedal and make contact. Had a couple of pass breakups as well as an interception, displays great ball skills. Long-limbed Class of 2028 linebacker who is very good in pursuit, takes great angles to the ball and wraps up. McCullough can stay flat across the LOS and has good backside pursuit. Fox proved he can be a dual threat who possesses good hands. He can create on his own as a route runner, adjust to the ball midair, and won contested catches during the 7-on-7 period. Fox has some good second-level wiggle and good burst through the hole. He is coming off a strong season where he had 1,376 total yards.
