The former Fort Lauderdale Dillard Panther has a good sense of where to be in zone coverage and reacts to the ball quickly to prevent receptions. The physical corner is an above-average tackler who hits with authority to jar the football loose from ball carriers.

Brinson also displays excellent recovery speed and seems to get his head around at the right moments to make plays on the ball. The upcoming sophomore can take it the distance with the football in his hands as he has shown he can be dangerous as a returner.

He does an excellent job of making plays on the ball without committing penalties, as his strong hands slap the ball away. He is also solid in run support, often making form tackles in space.
