He possesses a good frame with room to add muscle. He reads pre-snap, can adjust his release point, and gets the ball out quickly. Cowden displays solid initial quickness in his base/combo blocks and can mirror in pass protection. He's strong and quick at the POA. He possesses the motor you want as he will play through contact and the whistle.
