X3 Impact Summer Training Week 2: Top Standouts

Fletcher was easily one of the top prospects in the building, immediately catching my attention with his size and explosiveness. Fletcher showcased excellent strength and execution on every rep. Winfree was locked in from start to finish, making his presence known with his excellent size, powerful arm, and outstanding ability to scan the backfield. Winfree was especially dialed in during positional drills, making a number of great deep passes. Reed made his presence known all throughout training, proving his great size, electric speed off the whistle, and his strong catching ability. Brown was one of the more efficient offensive weapons in the building, showing off excellent speed and his strong catching ability. I also really liked Brown's versatile edge and ability to juke out the defense. Brown also showed off solid footwork throughout warm-up drills. Dexter was one of my favorite linemen, showcasing outstanding footwork, speed, and strength. Dexter also has excellent size for a freshman, which definitely made a difference during positional drills. Beasley caught my attention in week one of training, but really hit his stride in week two. What made Beasley so impressive was his explosiveness and ability to make the most of every rep. Nevels is an extremely talented young signal caller out of the Nashville area to know about as he consistently stands out with his powerful arm and ability to read the backfield. Firsching was quick and precise down the stretch, hauling in a number of impressive passes. I also really liked Firsching's wingspan and ability to elevate off the ground to reach the ball. Grossaint was another receiver to make the most of every rep. In addition to an excellent frame and outstanding catching, Grossaint did an excellent job during positional training with his explosive speed off the whistle. Holland did a good job getting down field and getting in prime position for the catch. I also liked Holland's speed and versatility as he could get off the ground to haul in the deep pass. Gribble caught my attention during linemen drills, making the most of every single rep. In addition to great size and strength, Gribble's footwork and speed played a huge part in why he tested so well on Thursday night.
