On Saturday, May 16, Prep Redzone New Jersey was back in action in Jackson, New Jersey to host their 2026 Exposure Series. A small event, every prospect had more than enough reps to show their talent, call attention to themselves, and perform.

As usual, the first measure of a prospect is to the naked eye. Below are a list of prospects who passed my eye test. In my estimation, these prospects appear physically ready to hold their own on a collegiate football field if they were to step on it today.

For a rising sophomore, Maxwell Schneider is a solid option. Against prospects that he is clearly slow than, he is able to stay in front of them to a point before the really quick ones can gain the edge. A sturdy prospect, he withstood, and won, against a powerful bull rush. Improved bend and creating space (rather than competing chest-to-chest) will aid him in his endeavors.

Another current freshman, Jaleel Perry, did an awesome job competing. I thought that when defending the perimeter rush he did a great job of working to maintain knee-to-crotch ratio and moving his feet - so much so that I remarked twice how well he moved his feet. Perry punches and attacks well, while staying in front of defenders who are going in one direction well. Perry can, however, lower his pad level so he can perhaps have an easier time powering down.

Perhaps the rawest prospect in attendance was Brandon Johnson. Johnson showed that he can stay in front of most of his matchups, as well as withstand physical shots to the body and his chops. Johnson truly showed toughness and grit during this showcase.

A big body that I got a first-hand look at was Ben Lubin. I am of the opinion that Lubin is probably an interior lineman and not a tackle. For as powerful as he is, he had a tendency to lunge and struggle against faster and quicker opponents. More bend will help this. Additionally, improve slight of foot will help him protect against inside threats.
