With June marching on and 7-on-7 action in full swing, we're continuing our look at some of the guys who we think will play a big role in their teams' success this season.

Here's a look at the players who we think have a shot to be team MVPs in Region I-4A.

EASLEY GREEN WAVE

[player_tooltip player_id='1824022' first='Malachi' last='Ramey'] WR, 2027

Ramey was in an interesting spot last season as the Green Wave's clear No. 2 guy. Now, he'll have a chance to be THE guy for Easley. Behind a standout senior, he led a group of underclassmen at WR who were all right at 200 yards, and his speed and athletic ability play into his favor, and he's really strong for his size. He wins a ton of physical battles, and should step right into an increased production role.

FOUNTAIN INN FURY

[player_tooltip player_id='429920' first='Sam' last='Holliday'] QB, 2027 (pictured)

This one's an easy call. Holliday's had the Fury's success on his back for a while now, and this year's difference is that he'll have a ton of complementary pieces around him to make his job a little easier. He's started since his freshman year, and has grown right along with the Fountain Inn program. He accounted for more than 2,800 yards and 39 touchdowns a year ago, and with a strong arm and a punishing running style, Holliday is the key to Fountain Inn's offense.

GREENWOOD EAGLES

[player_tooltip player_id='1822753' first='Jayden' last='Logan'] DL, 2027

Logan is a legacy Eagle, with a lot of his family playing at the skill positions for Greenwood through the years. He's a little bigger, but has the same athleticism. He's got a quick first step, a variety of moves, and a physical presence that help him control the line of scrimmage. The Eagles will be finding their way a little bit on offense, but Logan and his teammates on the defensive side of the ball will be more than good enough to give Greenwood time to figure things out.

LAURENS RAIDERS

[player_tooltip player_id='2106782' first='Logan' last='Bragg'] QB, 2029

We've said it before, but it bears repeating: Bragg's got one of the most important intangibles a sophomore QB can have, and that's a lengthy starting stint as a freshman. You can look at the numbers, but you can also ignore them and look at the fact that Bragg got better every time out, and now he's still a young guy with a ton of varsity experience. He'll be in his second year in Greg Porter's offense, and he's already shown he's got the physical tools to be a good one, particularly with strength and power behind his throws.

TL HANNA YELLOW JACKETS

[player_tooltip player_id='1791455' first='Brock' last='Cole'] RB, 2027

Hanna's wing-based offense is a fun thing to watch. But by its nature, it doesn't produce high-volume stat guys, because everybody gets so many carries. That's why it's interesting that the Yellow Jackets' leading rusher will return. [player_tooltip player_id='1791455' first='Brock' last='Cole'] accounted for more than 1,000 yards of total offense last season, including more than 800 on the ground. He's a power guy with plenty of speed, and he can continue to be the guy who dictates the way the offense goes. While a couple of guys graduated, the team's third-leading rusher is back to play in the same backfield as Cole, making him doubly dangerous.

WESTSIDE RAMS

[player_tooltip player_id='1881741' first='Bear' last='Woods'] QB, 2029

Westside has weapons everywhere, but it all starts with the guy under center. Woods threw for nearly 3,000 yards and 26 touchdowns as a freshman, and he's got guys all over the place to get it to. Woods is the ideal fit for Brian Lane's offense - he's a big guy who's mobile enough to escape when things break down, he makes great decision and has good pocket presence, and he can absolutely sling it. Add to that he's left-handed, and you've got a matchup nightmare on your hands. Woods is capable of keeping the Rams on the field with anybody.

With June marching on and 7-on-7 action in full swing, we're continuing our look at some of the guys who we think will play a big role in their teams' success this season.
