Newly-Ranked 2029 OL

We're in the middle of our 2029 rankings content after publishing our <a href="https://prepredzone.com/north-carolina/rankings/2029-north-carolina-high-school-football-rankings/">late spring rankings update</a> earlier this week. While we've covered some <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2026/06/behind-the-scenes-of-the-2029-rankings-spring/">big-picture topics</a> surrounding the class, we haven't yet talked about any of the 41 new faces. This offseason, he moved to Providence Day and reclassified. That should help him, especially as a guy who played last season a bit undersized. Even so, he's a strong run-blocking tackle with the potential to grow into a stalwart in the passing game.     I'm not sure how much playing time Day will see on a deep, experienced Hough offensive line, but he has a bright future, nonetheless. He did see some action last year at right guard, and he's physically ready for the varsity level. He's a strong, balanced pass-blocker. Given enough time, Day should be on some impressive offensive line lists in a class that is shaping up to be one of the better groups in several years.     Dean is one of the more explosively athletic 285-pounders you'll ever see, and that bodes well for his future ability. He's still a bit raw, but the two-way lineman comes from a family of athletes, and if we had to bet, we think he'll be a household name in a few years.     A powerful interior run-blocker, Level was part of one of the more surprising offensive units in the state. I didn't expect the Nighthawks to one of the top teams in the 6A class, but the balanced offense was impressive. Level was a part of that, though not a full-time starter. He flashed excellent leg drive and power on the inside, and he has a profile that should translate as he gets older.     Patrick was added to the back end of the rankings by my colleague, Matt Morrow, and I hadn't seen his film until quite receently. What I've seen now leads me to think he could be a future stock-riser, as he gets bigger and more comfortable at the tackle position. He transfers over to Jay M. Robinson this offseason, where he could be a key contributor on a talented offense.     Fisher first hit our radar when we evaluated the top <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2026/03/top-6-ol-in-johnston-harnett-county/">offensive linemen in Johnston and Harnett Counties</a>. He's a physical guard prospect who has good lateral movement skills. He's excellent in space, from the clips we've seen, and we like the early returns. Expect his role to expand in 2026 as he grows.     Torrence is still growing, but the early signs are there that he's one to keep an eye on. He's a strong, disciplined interior lineman prospect with good footwork and leg drive. He should continue to grow, and the added weight will put him in a position to blow some defenders off the ball.
