As coaches, this is where you separate flash from substance. Anyone can make a highlight play, but what shows up consistently snap after snap is what really matters. Footwork, leverage, ball skills, eye discipline, effort—those are the traits we're focusing on in this breakdown.

[player_tooltip player_id='1171162' first='Cadriann' last='Olds'] - 2027 DE - Booker T. Washington

Former Edmond North defensive end [player_tooltip player_id='1171162' first='Cadriann' last='Olds'], now at Booker T. Washington, has already generated significant recruiting attention, picking up offers from programs such as TCU, Baylor, and Kansas, among others. He plays with a solid base and delivers a strong initial punch, using good extension to create separation and control at the point of attack. His technique stands out, and he consistently shows an understanding of leverage and hand placement. At 6'2" and 260 pounds, he has a good frame and displays impressive athleticism. He's active around the football and creates disruption in the backfield with his ability to get off the ball quickly. Coming off the edge, he runs a nice hoop to pressure the quarterback and does a good job working down the line of scrimmage to make plays. He's a physical defender who consistently finds ways to impact the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1837083' first='Keanu' last='James'] - 2027 ATH - Muskogee

Muskogee Roughers class of 2027 athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1837083' first='Keanu' last='James'] is a dynamic playmaker with the speed to take the top off a defense. He runs quality routes, shows the ability to beat press coverage, and consistently creates separation. Keanu tracks the ball well downfield and displays strong eye hand coordination, allowing him to make plays on deep throws and contested catches. He has a knack for finding open windows in coverage and presents a reliable target for his quarterback. After the catch, his big-play ability makes him a threat to score anytime he touches the football. Keanu also contributes in the run game, showing a willingness to block on the perimeter and help set the edge. He does a nice job sinking his hips in and out of breaks, allowing him to stay efficient and explosive throughout his routes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1277952' first='Jack' last='Knight'] - 2028 LB - Bixby

Bixby 2027 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1277952' first='Jack' last='Knight'] was already on our radar after an impressive showing at our Exposure Series in Broken Arrow, and after watching more film, he continues to validate that attention. Jack is a physical defender who plays with a downhill mentality and isn't afraid to strike ball carriers at the point of attack. He shows good read recognition, processes plays quickly, and is very comfortable operating in the tackle box. His range stands out as he can run sideline to sideline and consistently find his way to the football. He does a nice job making open-field tackles and shows the ability to shed blocks to keep himself clean and involved in the play. Overall, Jack is a fundamentally sound linebacker who combines physicality, instincts, and pursuit to make an impact on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1828152' first='Bryce' last='Bee'] - 2028 OL/DL - Idabel

Idabel 2028 offensive and defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1828152' first='Bryce' last='Bee'] is a player who plays on both sides of the ball and is effective in the trenches. Defensively, he comes off the ball and does a good job creating disruption in the backfield. He moves well for his size and shows the ability to pursue plays from sideline to sideline. On the offensive line, Bryce demonstrates good awareness in pass protection, identifying blitzers and making the necessary pickups to keep the pocket clean. In the run game, he pulls well, moves efficiently in space, and does a nice job executing down blocks to create running lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1634215' first='Denton' last='Townsend'] - 2028 DB - Collinsville

Collinsville Cardinals 2028 defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1634215' first='Denton' last='Townsend'] is a competitive defender who shows a solid foundation in the secondary. Denton has been to several camps with Prep Redzone and with his 7 on 7 tournament team. He displays a smooth backpedal and does a good job staying disciplined in coverage. In zone defense, he plays his area well, keeps his eyes where they need to be, and shows good awareness without getting caught looking in the wrong places. Denton isn't afraid to set the edge in the run game and will come downhill to make tackles, bringing a physical mentality to the position. He's a good overall athlete who reacts quickly when the ball leaves the quarterback's hand, driving on throws and putting himself in position to make plays on the football.
