Class of 2027: Prospects Building Their Case

There are prospects in the 2027 class that are building their case and who have not gotten a lot of recognition. Take a look below at some of the under-the-radar talent who have some evaluations that you should consider reading.    [player_tooltip player_id='2119255' first='Anthony' last='Milan'] is a physical jump ball WR that has strong hands at the catch point on the outside. Altogether, Milan was a true threat in the red area, where his size, quickness, and route-running ability stood out. Another key point is how tough it is to bring Milan down after the catch. The ability to break tackles at a high rate and to break into the open field is clear. Milan is a player with breakaway speed and the acceleration to score at any time. No doubt he is a big-time deep threat on the boundary that is a challenging cover.      Savion McKenzie is a quick and speedy WR that pays dividends in multiple areas. Correspondingly, McKenzie runs the majority of his routes from out of the slot role. The quickness comes into play greatly out of his breaks off the LOS. Vertically, when matched up one-on-one, McKenzie can get moving down the field. No doubt this was effective on deeper routes. Mckenzie is a player that can be used on special teams to return kickoffs and punts.      A physical WR that is not afraid to out-body DBs for the football. [player_tooltip player_id='2149431' first='Caiden' last='Howard'] was a constant deep-ball WR that would attack go and fade balls to make contested catches. Furthermore, he shows strong body control, allowing him to adjust and catch the football away from defenders' reach. Howard will show his physicality with the ball in his hands running through opponents to gain extra yardage. There is solid athleticism in making defenders miss and flexibility, which we saw on quick screens.      [player_tooltip player_id='1740667' first='Henry' last='Scholes'] is a big-time OT that stands at 6'3” and weighs 285 pounds. In essence, he plays with a mauling style, driving defenders into the ground in the run game. The ability to make reach, pull, and trap blocks was all of the essence on his tape. Even more, the ability to use his upper and lower body strength to withstand powerful rushes at multiple assets did shine. Scholes was able to protect the corner and use his hands to move players into the direction he wanted. On offense, he consistently creates movement as a blocker, opening lanes for ball carriers. In similar fashion at the MLB position, he would attack at the LOS with high aggressiveness. Rybke showed the ability to play with leverage and tackle with good angles. Furthermore, he does show a high motor all around and will contribute on special teams.      Ayvion Burke is a lengthy and speedy S/WR that was able to cover a lot of ground for Henninger High School. On the backend, Burke was able to jump routes and fly up to make strong plays on the football. In like manner, his route recognition continues to develop, allowing him to react quickly in coverage. This is a DB with fluid hips and can recover well when beat. Burke showed promise at the WR position, where his speed was a strength. Continued development as a pass catcher will be key. No doubt he is a willing blocker that is not afraid of contact.
