Moving along with offseason coverage, we dive into the 6A Region 4 risers from Alabama. This region is packed full of some new names popping onto the radar, across all levels.

Tasie has picked up steady buzz this spring and is firmly on the FBS radar, making him a top riser at the position in AL. He is a big body with thin limbs, signaling that there is more meat on the bone here in his development. He keeps his feet running, which allows him to shuffle in front of pass rushers. Balance is still improving, but he plays with good hand placement and foot fire to displace defenders. Even if he's a little rough around the edges, there is plenty to like here, and he has obvious FBS upside.

There's not much buzz here for Thomas, who is a long, raw athlete with his best ball ahead of him. The general scaffold and marks of a productive player on the defensive front are all here. He is flexible enough to bend and snap around blockers. He battles hard at the POA and uses his length to press, and he will get stronger as he fills out. He finds ways to pull himself into the backfield and win, even when his traits and technique are still developing and coming around. He is worth a college roster spot, where someone will bank on his upside and developmental traits.

Drake is a productive two-way player for Huntsville who is worthy of some recognition. He is a lean, loose athlete who is a playmaker on offense, consistently making defenders miss and creating yards in space. However, he will make his money as a DB. At corner, he does a good job of mirroring receivers at the critical points of the route and has the fluidity needed in his hips to open up. He flashes good ball skills on both sides of the line with the ability to wrestle it away from defenders. Drake is an underrated, prolific playmaker on both sides of the ball with a high floor.

This is my first look at McKinnon, who has since transferred to James Clemens. There isn't a whole lot of tape to go off of here just yet, but small school offers this offseason have McKinnon creeping onto the radar. When you compare his body this spring to even the fall, he looks to have filled out and taken the proper shape of an LB body. To go along with that size, he is a capable athlete who can pursue in space and take on blockers. He has the general ingredients of a solid LB prospect; he just needs to prove he can tie it all together in a comprehensive manner this fall.

This isn't my first look at Carr, but he is worth a second look. He is an athletic, dense athlete on the defensive front at 6'2 250. This kid is as splashy as DL prospect come. He is an athletic player who shows evidence of his ability to roll when he picks up fumbles, can come downhill to block punts, and is generally just an impressively fast and agile player at his size and frame. He will likely stick on the interior, but I think there is money to be made here as a pass rusher. He is explosive, uses his hands well around the arc, can bend, and turns speed to power. He gets after it. If he were 6'5 instead of 6'2, he would be an obvious blue-chipper. Regardless, P4 coaches need to pay close attention here.

This is my first look at Grace, who has started to emerge from James Clemens. He is now up to around 6'3 290, and an obvious IOL projection. He is an explosive player who is quick off the line and uses that first step to stun and stall defenders. He fights hard with his hands, and while sometimes his feet may leave the ground, he has the pad level and natural leverage to correct that and effortlessly move people. He flashes a mean streak, taking advantage of the opportunities to knock defenders off their feet. Grace has tackled on a few D1 offers this offseason.
