Continued articles have taken some closer looks at some of the top such debuts and big risers on the latest list.

Here's a look at another few prospects on defense to monitor who earned their first rankings, all in the top 110, and are tabbed as clear Division-I talents as such.

[player_tooltip player_id='2234610' first='Julius' last='Brown'] — 5-10, 180 DB/WR — Leesville

The Wampus Cats' wunderkind was among the higher debuts in this round of rankings updates after a hyper-productive sophomore campaign on both sides of the ball. Brown's leap, instincts and all-around athleticism allow him to play bigger than his listed size as he tracks the ball downfield whether as a big-play threat for his team or making well-timed and even tough, adjusting interceptions and deflections while working in the secondary. He possesses some notable positional versatility, but has appeared to most likely project in the secondary at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2234612' first='Jordan' last='Bushnell'] — 6-2, 175 DB/ATH — Iowa

The Yellow Jackets won their first state championship in December with some key seniors and a deep 2027 class with a few future college players eager to their group the best to come through the program. But the wave of talent appears poised to continue coming through Iowa, including the athletic and versatile defender who came on strong down the stretch. Bushnell's combination of size, speed and ball skills could make him a great fit in a hybrid "star" type position in a lot of defenses at the next level with a ranging, leaping interception in the Division-II Non-Select title game a prime example of the type of playmaking he can provide.

[player_tooltip player_id='1801582' first='Landon' last='Mitchell'] — 5-11, 150 DB/WR — LaGrange

Another dynamic and versatile standout from southwest Louisiana, the Gators' two-way and multisport athlete earned all-distict recognition as both a wide receiver and defensive back this past fall. He initially hit the PRZLA radar with some big interception totals and has had a nice offseason with strong hurdles performances during track and field and verified 4.6-second 40-yard dash and 9-foot-3 broad jump marks on the camp circuit.

[player_tooltip player_id='2234903' first='Dallas' last='Lowe'] — 6-0, 295 DL — Ponchatoula

"D-Lo" is a stout, strong defensive lineman who plays with a good motor and, while probably a more natural defensive tackle, enough mobility at his size to provide some positional versatility along his Green Wave's front line with his effectiveness when bouncing out to end. He keeps his legs and hands moving, ripping his way free of blockers or driving them backward and creating disruption inside and proving difficult for opposing passers and ball-carriers to escape once he gets a hand on them.

[player_tooltip player_id='1626539' first='Desmian' last='Curry'] — 5-10, 160 DB/WR — Airline

The Vikings' rising junior defensive back is an intriguing sleeper prospect to watch early in the development of the class. Curry isn't the biggest defensive back, but is quick and instinctive with great breaks to the ball and doesn't shy away from physicality. He began cracking his way into the lineup during the course of his sophomore season and racked up 55 tackles, including two for loss, and two interceptions, 10 breakups, a pair of forced fumbles and a recovery.

[player_tooltip player_id='1604600' first='Karson' last='Converse'] — 5-11, 190 DB — Central

Converse earned and capitalized on opportunities this fall to be a notable contributor on a new-look Wildcats defense with no shortage of playmakers in the middle of the field. He recorded more than 25 tackles, including seven for loss and a couple sacks, and two interceptions as a sophomore and should have the opportunity to build on that experience and adding some further flexibility to the unit with another instinctive athlete who is effective playing the back end, bringing pressure off the edge or covering the slot.
