One of the quarterbacks who has the best chance of becoming the No. 1-ranked quarterback in the state of Louisiana when the class is ranked is [player_tooltip player_id='1605619' first='Krew' last='Collura']. Collura is as consistent as they come in the state of Louisiana when it comes to his TD:INT ratio. Last season, he finished with 16 touchdowns while finishing with a total of four interceptions. Collura is a great-minded gunslinger and will be one of the quarterbacks with the biggest upside come this season. I believe this prospect will leave this season at the very top of the rankings, as he is one of the toughest quarterbacks in the state, regardless of class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1703920' first='Delario' last='Jones Jr.'] is one of the better players in the 2029 class, but he will need to continue to grow his frame if he is going to develop the way he needs to. He is one of the players who played quarterback last season, and one of the few players to get reps in the state as a freshman, but in his reps, it was a mixture of some great plays and some smart plays. I anticipate this season to be much better for him, as he is set to see some great competition and will need to pick defenses apart. Jones Jr. is one of the front-runners, in my opinion.

[player_tooltip player_id='2217367' first='Louie' last='Collins'] is ready for the major role this season, as last season he wasn't able to get as much production as he would have maybe hoped when it comes to passing yards. Collins continues to grow his frame and become more reliable as a gunslinger. He is one of the best players in the class in the state of Louisiana, which is something he can build off of moving forward. Glenbrook has a star with this young gunslinger with a great internal clock. One of my favorite prospects to consider for the top spot at the position when we begin ranking 2029s.

[player_tooltip player_id='2228093' first='Sley' last='Gardner'] is one of the players with the most production in the class and at the quarterback position, but he has a long way to go when it comes to his development (but so does everyone in this class). He made the typical freshman mistakes, but this is something he will likely fix in his second season with Rosepine, as he is set to be one of the stars of the program yet again. Gardner is one that I am watching closely, as he is a sneaky pick to be our No. 1 at the position in my opinion.

[player_tooltip player_id='2228102' first='Luke' last='Lasiter'] is a flame thrower on and off the football field, as you won't find someone more gifted in this class when it comes to the zip on the ball. This is largely due to his undeniable talent on the baseball field. While he is great on the baseball field, he is also someone who has the chance to be great on the football field. I have high faith that he will be successful in this upcoming season at one of the more popular high schools in the area. Keep an eye on this gunslinger.
