He can certainly help his team win at both positions because he is that kind of impact athlete. He has tremendous ball skills, he has lateral hip flexibility, and he knows how to make it hard for wide outs to find space and to get open for the catch. He has a God-given ability that is really going to continue to translate at a high level. Deacon Fleury has a great deal of athletic ability at the tight end position. He has the outstanding size already, the hands, the route running ability and the intangibles to make a next level playmaker. Fleury is a guy who can play both tight end and defensive end on the defensive side of the ball, but it certainly looks to me, he can really make a ton of noise for his team and around the Peach State at the tight end position. He has great route running ability at the wide out position and obviously can play defensive back at a high level too but it's wide out is where he earned top performer at our Next camp in Atlanta because of how he performed on the offensive side of the ball. Perkins is an outstanding player and one to really watch this season in the middle school ranks.
