Norman has a relentless motor, keeps his head on a swivel and has high football IQ. He is one of the best pass rushers in Tennessee, regardless of class. That success led to him being named a four-star recruit, the No. 34 D-lineman in his class and to his commitment to Ole Miss last summer. Even though he's a bigger guy, Pittman is very athletic and plays with a relentless motor. He is a terrific run stuffer who requires multiple blockers to even think about stopping him. But don't sleep on his ability to get after the passer. The 6-foot-4, 245-pound defensive end/edge rusher holds 12 Division I offers, but has the potential to break out on the recruiting side of things and go farther than that.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In 11 games this past season, he racked up 73 tackles, 22 for a loss, three sacks and 13 pressures for the Lions. The rising senior is a violent edge rusher/defensive end who's extremely quick off the ball, is highly physical, has polished technique and plays with his hair on fire.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He's much better than everyone he plays against, which leads him to dominate opposing offensive linemen. He's a flat-out monster on the defense front. He was good as a freshman, but took that next step last season, totaling 64 tackles, six for a loss, five sacks and recovered one fumble in 10 games. The rising junior made a name for himself, but is due for a huge season in 2026, where he should pick up a good amount of college interest. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He's undersized for his defensive end position, standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 210 pounds, with a lean frame that keeps him mobile. Despite lacking pure size, he is well-built and is building his frame the right way. Ward is very athletic and has shown a lot of promise as a rusher. He had just five sacks last season, but the technique, quickness off the ball and ability to shed blocks tell me the best is yet to come. He's still a work in progress, but the 2028 prospect showed a lot of flash this past season, leading to him being offered by Ole Miss and Auburn earlier this week. He has all the traits and physical tools to be one of the premier players in Tennessee over the next two seasons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Pittman has a massive frame at 6-foot-5, while having good size for his age and position. He is a defensive end, but could easily transition into an edge rusher by the time he chooses a school, given his long frame.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The rising junior is very athletic, with nice twitch and a high motor, making him a mismatch nightmare for most offensive linemen. He can stop the run, but his calling card is his ability to get after the quarterback.
