A speedy wideout on the rise from Savannah, Pinckney is a major weapon in the ball in his hands who thrives both as a pass-catcher on offense and in the return game on special teams. He shows quick feet, good burst, and the ability to out-run defenders down the field. He brings a D1-caliber frame at 6-foot-1 175-pounds and should continue to add good weight and muscle this off-season. A playmaking sophomore who shined throughout the 2025 season, Pinckney hauled in 38 passes for 560 yards and seven touchdowns while taking a kick-return back for a touchdown as well. Look for him to be an easy addition to the next 2028 rankings.

A quick, powerful defensive lineman from the Savannah area, Brown Jr. is likely bound for a giant junior season this fall for Effingham County. No matter if he's lined up on the offense line burying defenders into the ground, or clogging up running lanes on defense, Brown's impact should be immediate next fall. He brings good size at 6-foot-3 280-pounds, is naturally strong, and can overpower his opponents with ease. He showed a lot of promise as a sophomore and it's led to several D1 offers. However, if he continues to develop and grow as a player this spring and summer, more offers are likely to come his way.

A quick, playmaking defensive lineman from Wrightsville who made play after play in the backfield last season, Dixon may not be the biggest or heaviest lineman in the 2028 class, but he showed last season that he can absolutely play at the next level. Just a sophomore, Dixon proved in 2025 that he plays hard, uses good leverage, and plays with max-effort that allows him to find the ball-carrier. He fires off the snap, shows violent hands, and is coming off a strong second season where he made 30 tackles, 16 TFLs and four sacks. As good as he was last year, look for Dixon to make an even bigger impact in 2026.

Another sleeper defensive back in the Savannah area, Black is an instinctive defensive back with length, quickness, and the ability to stick with receivers down the field. He plays fast, understands his role, and broke up passes consistently throughout his sophomore season last year. A sure-tackler, Black is one of the top returning defensive backs in the area for the 2028 class and really impressed last fall with 32 combined tackles, three INTs and 15 more pass-breakups. His recruitment is picking up and it could take off in a big way when college coaches watch him during spring practice this month.

A speedy Middle Georgia athlete flying under the radar, Gordon is a quick, shifty weapon on offense who can carry the ball out of the backfield or stretch the field vertically as a receiver. He may not have lit up the stat sheet last season, but when you turn the field on, it doesn't take long to see his natural speed, talent and potential. Gordon averaged 8.4 yards per carry last season while catching 22 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns. He also made plays in the return game, averaging 20 yards a kick return. He flashed big-play potential last season and could be one of the more productive players in the region next fall as a junior.
