Six New Additions To The 2027 Rankings

Today, I take a look at six 2027's who were new additions to our rankings. The players represent a strong group of players who are key players for their teams. Whether it by their playmaking or versatility they make their teams better. So let's take a look.    Butto is a solid all-around linebacker who can defend against both the run and the pass. Against the run he's sound, and strong in his run fits. He keeps his shoulders perpendicular to the line of scrimmage and sheds well. In coverage he has athleticism to drop and get depth. His size and athleticism make him versatile enough that I could see him playing end at the college level. There's a lot to like about Butto's game.     McNeal has some very intriguing film. His combination of length and athleticism really flash on film. He gets off the snap well. His strength right now is in how he long arms and he does a solid job of shedding to make plays. He has the frame to continue to add good weight. If he can work on his bag of pass rush moves I think he could take his game to another level.     Zoeller is a solid two way player for the St. John Titans. On offense he's a solid route runner who does a great job of finding creases and seams in zone coverages. Defensively is where I see the higher upside with Kayden. He plays with good pad level and downhill. He has a nose for the ball and never gives up in pursuit as you see great hustle plays from him.     I see Drew as a box safety at the college level. Is comfortable dropping and playing the ball in zone coverage. In the run game he fires and gets downhill quickly. He's just very comfortable and good in space. He also shows the ability to time up blitzes and get into the offensive backfield. His versatility is a nice calling card for Wollschleger.     The 2027 receiver from Berea-Midpark had a great junior season for the Titans. He's a technical route runner who understands leverages and how to use his breaks to create separation. In his breaks, he does a great job of putting his foot in the ground and being explosive. When the ball is in the air he's a fantastic hands catcher as evidenced by his ability to catch the ball through contact and away from the frame. There's one play in specific on his film where he runs a seam route and is able to reach out one handed and catch the ball and stride. He's a player like a very much to pick up a lot of steam this summer and into his senior season.     Basinger is a guy who does a little bit of everything for the Bulldogs. He lines up at TE on offense where he blocks and makes plays down the field, you'll also see him lineup in the backfield as a lead blocker in the run game. On defense at the linebacker he can make plays in both the run and pass defense. He's simply one of those players who affect winning by doing whatever is asked of him to help the team. He has a think build while still possessing good bend and agility. He's a physical presence on both sides of the ball.
