It was a stellar day for the quarterbacks at the Prep Redzone Exposure Series on Sunday at Lakeridge High School.

The MVP award came down to a multi-quarterback throwing competition, featuring seven different signal-callers.

But even beyond that group, there was plenty of promise on the field.

Here's a look at the top performers at the quarterback position:

[player_tooltip player_id='1257695' first='Emmit' last='Distefano'], Thurston (2027) — Go routes, throws to the sideline on play action and, finally, a pair of beautiful deep post throws earned Distefano the QB MVP award against a very good group.

The 6-foot, 200-pound muscular signal-caller threw nice, catchable ball all day and put some serious zip on his throws outside the numbers.

A first-team all-league and second-team all-state selection, Distefano could be the 5A offensive player for the year if he consistently plays like he did Sunday.

Exceptional day,

[player_tooltip player_id='937233' first='Sloan' last='Baker'], West Linn (2027) — Prior to the final competition, Baker held a slight edge over the rest of the field for the MVP award.

But it was a razor-thin margin with a few other quarterbacks, so we decided to let the guys compete for the win.

Baker's last ball slipped out of his hand, which may have cost him the MVP award.

But he had a stellar day regardless.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound first-team all-state selection and TRL Offensive Player of the Year put the ball where it needed to be on nearly every throw and lived up to all the hype as a 6A Offensive Player of the Year favorite.

Baker will have to battle against schools worrying about his size, but he's going to make an impact in college.

And the staff that buys in will be getting a really good one.

[player_tooltip player_id='1539446' first='Ryker' last='Rohaley'], Sheldon (2028) — The 6-foot-1, 175-pound passer looked much-improved from January and was among the clear-cut standouts for the day.

Rohaley, who has taken to coaching well, had maybe the best two throws on a 7-step-drown deep out drill - a Mark Sanchez camp drill creation.

He made the final three in the quarterback throw-off, but a low toss - and slight drop by the receiver - led to his elimination.

Rohaley continues to improve and should play ball at the next level.

He needs the first offer domino to fall, then hope the stacking begins.

[player_tooltip player_id='860650' first='Jack' last='Wilson'], Jesuit (2027) — The 6-foot-2, 170-pound signal-caller hasn't played in the most pass-happy offense in his high school career, but was ready to showcase his talent Sunday.

Wilson made the final two in the quarterback throw-off and had some throws fly out of his hand.

He needs to continue to be more consistent mechanically, but the potential and arm strength were both obvious.

[player_tooltip player_id='937183' first='Aris' last='Dimick'], Tigard (2027) — There's a lot to like in the 6-foot-4, 205-pound Dimick.

When it all comes together he throws a beautiful ball from your prototypical quarterback frame.

As he hones in mechanically and becomes more consistent his ceiling is quite high.

He should (and is) generating interest from Big Sky programs on down.

He's definitely an interesting player to watch now that Tigard's program is under new direction.

Dimick could take a big leap this fall.

Gage Creasey, Grant (2028) — One of the biggest surprises of the day, Creasley was an all-league selection in the PIL last fall.

But this camp featured many of the best quarterbacks in the state.

He not only held his own, he had some really good moments.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound signal-caller and baseball player is a workout warrior - squats 405 — and showcased a lively arm.

Creasey is a player I'll be watching closely this fall.

Sunday's performance was an eye-opening building block for his prospect status.

[player_tooltip player_id='1705970' first='Quinn' last='Baker'], West Linn (2029) — Baker looked the part of the “future West Linn quarterback.”

He threw well Sunday and is already bigger than his brother.

He's got the potential to be better on the field as well, but that could come with time.

In a loaded group of quarterbacks on a day everyone seemed to be firing, he looked like a special one for the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='2056041' first='Jude' last='Buck'], Cleveland (2029) — The freshman PIL honorable mention all-league selection had a solid day.

His mechanics wavered at times, but he was coachable, quickly picking up instruction for his next rep.

Buck remains raw, but as he continues to develop there's a chance he's a really good one down the road.

He flashed that potential Sunday - and ran a 4.66 laser-timed 40, which was fastest in the position group.

It was a stellar day for the quarterbacks at the Prep Redzone Exposure Series on Sunday at Lakeridge High School.
