[player_tooltip player_id='1289529' first='Te'Are' last='Wilson'] caught my attention with some impressive sophomore year film. He lines up on the outside at corner but he has proven to be very reliable in run support. Wilson does a great job of diagnosing the play quickly then coming downhill in a hurry to get to the ball carrier to make the tackle before they can get going. He finished this past season with 47 tackles and three tackles for loss in 13 games. In pass coverage, he does a great job of mirroring opposing receivers' routes in man coverage then reacting with perfect timing to make a play with the ball is thrown his way, coming away with one interception as a sophomore. Te'Are is a player who I expect college coaches to have their eyes on heading into his junior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1640945' first='Levi' last='Clemmons'] has been on my radar for a while now and continued to stand out as a sophomore at Madison Southern. Clemmons lines up at inside linebacker where he is dominant against the run. He does a great job of reading his keys quickly then coming downhill in a hurry to make the tackle before the ball carrier can get going. In seven games this past season, he accounted for 46 tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss. He also record a half sack as a sophomore. I expect a lot of eyes to be on Levi after transferring to Rockcastle County for his junior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2156977' first='Grant' last='Foley'] jumped onto my radar with a strong sophomore year. He is a versatile defensive back who has shown the ability to line up all over the secondary. In pass coverage, he does a great job of reading route combinations then flowing through the secondary accordingly to put himself in position to make a play. When the ball is thrown in his direction, Foley has shown impressive ball skills, coming away with three interceptions in 14 games as a sophomore. He has also shown the ability to provide run support, finishing this past season with 57 tackles and one tackle for loss. Grant is a player who I can see picking up a lot of interest from college coaches this offseason.

My final under-the-radar defensive prospect to watch in the class of 2028 in the state of Kentucky is [player_tooltip player_id='2156975' first='Cash' last='Myers']. Cash lines up at inside linebacker where he is very impressive against the run. He diagnoses the play quickly then uses his speed to get to the ball carrier with a sense of urgency. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he is a very reliable open field tackler, finishing this past season with a team-high 112 tackles in 13 games. Myers will be a player to keep an eye on over the next couple seasons.
