Quarterback was the largest position group at the camp. It may have been the deepest position group as well, but [player_tooltip player_id='1614343' first='Chase' last='Santiago'] looked like one of the better QBs based on his arm strength and accuracy. He was also very good at putting the ball on receivers when rolling out and attacking the line of scrimmage. Santiago, who will attend Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham, Mass., also ran the 40-yard dash in 5.09 seconds, which was the sixth fastest time overall and the best time among quarterbacks. In addition, he cleared 8-feet in the broad jump.

[player_tooltip player_id='2153514' first='Colton' last='Richard'], who will attend Nashua (N.H.) North High School next fall, was an eye-catcher for several reasons, including his rugged 5-foot-10, 195-pound build. It's clear he's a regular in the weight room during the off-season. Richard took to the coaching throughout the event and performed well during the linebacker drills, but what really stood out was his athleticism during the one-on-one passing portion of the camp. He was able to turn and run with receivers and stay with them, even on the deepest routes. Richard turned in a 5.16 time in the 40-yard dash. He could be an early contributor at the high school level.

Beckam Cresswell, who is headed to Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, N.H., tested well at the camp. He turned in the best broad jump of any athlete who attended (9 feet, 2 inches), had the fifth-best time in the 40-yard dash (5.02), produced the seventh-best time in the L-drill (7.5 seconds) and was 13th in the pro shuttle (4.78). He showed good hands in running back and receiving drills, and was one of the better route runners at the events. With added size, Creswell looked like an athlete that could contribute at the varsity level early in his high school career.

[player_tooltip player_id='2181133' first='Hayes' last='Nemser'] was one of several quarterbacks at the camp who stood out because of their size (6-1, 175). He impressed with his deep throws, and also showed good footwork. Arm strength was typically not an issue, but he did need to get more behind some of this throws. Nemser, who attends the Brunswick School in Greenwhich, Conn., tested well in the pro shuttle (4.65/seventh), the L-drill (7.53 seconds/eighth) and the broad jump (8 feet, 1 inch/ninth). Most of his throws in competitive situations were within the receiver's catch radius.

William Darling is a 5-foot-11, 165-pound quarterback in the Class of 2030. He will attend Worcester (Mass.) Academy. Darling showed good accuracy and typically threw a catchable ball with touch. He was one of the top athletes regardless of position, and performed well in the pro shuttle (second in 4.53) and the broad jump (third; 8-feet, 10 inches). Darling also made some exceptional throws during one-on-one passing drills. He was one of the top QBs at an event that was deep at that position.
