Top 5 WRs in Guilford County

Hammock missed a handful of games, but still led Northwest Guilford in receiving. As a senior, he'll look to both stay healthy and continue to refine his route-running and overall receiver play before the catch.     Poindexter is another two-way player whom I actually like a bit more on the defensive side of the ball. However, he spent more time at receiver this season, and that led to a big jump in offensive production. He likes working over the middle of the field, and he's great at creating immediate space after the catch with a quick first step with the ball in his hands. He was a touchdown machine, with 10 scores on just 55 touches.     Though the volume wasn't very high behind three senior receivers, Davis looks every bit the next great Grimsley receiver. He excels at creating space in and out of his breaks, and from what we've seen, he has soft hands, as well. As he continues to grow, he should only become more dangerous.     Horton will be a future FBS player as a safety, but here we're breaking down his receiver skills. He has excellent height, speed, and strength, and controls his body well. Horton has shown a surprising ability to get open (especially for a guy whose focus is largely on the defensive side of the ball). Several Dudley playmakers will be called upon to take on bigger offensive roles, and Horton has the ability to also step up his production.     Washington is an impressive outside receiver with the speed to get behind defenses and the strength and leaping ability to make tough catches down the field.
