PRZTN Training Special: Scouting Youthful QBs

<p>There was an abundance of talent at Brentwood Academy on Monday evening as I stopped by to scout some players during a quarterback workout. After catching the action, here's my list of the top standouts.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Quarterbacks</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">In the first place spot on my list is Wayne Randolph, a quarterback at Overton High School. Randolph was one of the most explosive signal callers on the field, proving his ability to throw for numerous deep passes. On top of excellent size and great arm strength, Randolph impressed me with his ability to find an open man and quickly release the ball. This rising senior out of the Nashville area is worth watching out for next season.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Also making his presence known was Davis Frazer, a quarterback at James Lawson High School. In addition to excellent size and great arm strength, Frazer stood out with his smooth mechanics and ability to sling bullets deep into the backfield. I also really liked how Frazer could read the backfield and release the ball in a timely manner. This rising talent out of the Bellevue area is worth keeping an eye on.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">I was additionally impressed with Paxton Pierce, a quarterback at Centennial High School. Pierce was outstanding on his reps, proving his ability to be quick and precise with his passing. Pierce had excellent accuracy, connecting with his receiver on a number of impressive passes throughout the practice. This signal caller out of the Franklin area should not be slept on.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Another signal caller to catch my attention was Jack Norman, a quarterback at Brentwood Academy. Norman did an excellent job on every one of his reps, showcasing excellent footwork and strong passing. On top of his great arm strength, Norman impressed me with his ability to scan the backfield and immediately connect with his receivers for the deep throw. People should start to get familiar with this gunslinger out of the Brentwood area.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">I also really liked what I saw from Matteo Colucci, a quarterback at Sunset Middle School. Colucci made a strong impression during Monday night's practice, throwing for a number of impressive passes. Colucci showcased excellent arm strength as well as great accuracy. Colucci also did an outstanding job scanning the backfield, connecting with his receivers for several good deep passes.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Wide Receivers</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Another prospect to catch my attention was [player_tooltip player_id='2117967' first='Ty' last='Terfehr'], a wide receiver that impressed me from start to finish. On top of excellent size and a great wingspan, Terfehr showcased excellent footwork and versatility. I also really liked how Terfehr could elevate off the ground to haul in the pass. This rising talent from the class of 2031 is certainly worth keeping an eye on as he continues to develop.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Also catching my attention was Levi Broadwell, a wide receiver at Overton High School. Broadwell was highly explosive down the stretch, hauling in a number of impressive passes. I really liked how Broadwell played in the backfield, showcasing his ability to pick up speed and jump off the ground to catch the powerful deep pass. This rising senior out of the Nashville area should be quite productive next season.</p>
