The second annual Oklahoma Open took place on Saturday in Broken Arrow. Because of bad weather forecast on Sunday, the event was moved to Saturday only so the action started early and was fast throughout the day. In the 18U division, Hustle Inc 405 captured the 18U division title. They lost to GC7 in pool play but would beat them a few hours later in the semifinals. They would then shut out CHJ Elite in the championship game to capture the title. Below, we take a look at seven guys that led them in one way or another to the 7v7 title Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id='1828591' first='Bobby' last='Pennon'] - 2027 Defensive Back - Edmond North

Edmond North 2027 defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1828591' first='Bobby' last='Pennon'] had a strong day on the defensive side of the ball. While we watched Pennon and this team go to work, he definitely stood out as an inside corner, working against shifty slot receivers most of the time. Pennon has good size and reaction time to stick onto those slot receivers trying to get easy separation on the line. Pennon also made guys work for every yard as he was not afraid to get right up on the line and play physical with guys off the snap. Pennon is the first of a couple new names on the breakdown for us to follow moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='294559' first='Braylon' last='Mullins'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Southmoore

Southmoore 2027 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='294559' first='Braylon' last='Mullins'] is a prospect that we first saw at one of our PRZ 7v7 tournaments. That's how he got on our radar and then he did it again on Saturday. Early on in pool play, Mullins was making some pretty outstanding catches and the thing that stood out about his performance was how easily he made those hard plays look. Mullins is a '27 name that needs to be talked about more moving forward in the spring and summer months. He has good size, runs good routes and as he showed on Saturday, he makes things look very easy at times on the football field.

[player_tooltip player_id='2124146' first='Damontre' last='Butler'] - 2029 Defensive Back - Millwood

Millwood 2029 defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='2124146' first='Damontre' last='Butler'] was another standout on the defensive side of the ball for Hustle Inc 405. Butler is also part of a freshman class at Millwood that has the ability to turn things around after the Falcons missed the playoffs in 2025. Butler also got our attention earlier this year when he was one of the top defensive backs at our February camp. We're looking forward to seeing more of him moving forward but on Saturday, Butler played very good football. It felt like he was getting better and better throughout the day and he also became a vocal leader on that side of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2170334' first='Deegan' last='Brakebill'] - 2030 Quarterback - Mustang

Hustle Inc 405 had a few quarterbacks taking reps throughout the morning and afternoon. But Mustang signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='2170334' first='Deegan' last='Brakebill'] seemed to be the most consistent guy from start to finish. Then we were blown away to find out that he was a 2030 prospect and dominating the 18U division before even stepping foot in the high school ranks. Brakebill was easily one of the top 18U quarterbacks on Saturday and he probably could have been playing 15U or 14U. He had an impressive showing Saturday and was a big reason why the rolled to the title. He was very accurate and quick with his decision-making.

[player_tooltip player_id='1830233' first='Freddie' last='Nash'] - 2027 Defensive Back - Choctaw

2027 defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1830233' first='Freddie' last='Nash'] is a DB that we've liked since his freshman year. And we found out on Saturday that he's now at Choctaw and that makes sense considering the way Choctaw has produced DB's at a very high level in the last five years. We're used to seeing Nash playing more of the corner position in the past but this weekend, he was lined up deeper in the secondary. We really like how vocal Nash is with his teammates as he's in constant communication with them before, during and after the play. It also looks like he's been living in the weight room for the last six months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1603482' first='Garritt' last='Davis'] - 2028 Wide Receiver - Crossings Christian

We watched film on Crossings Christian 2028 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1603482' first='Garritt' last='Davis'] a few times this offseason but this was our first chance to really watch him up close throughout pool play and bracket play. He checks just about every box and our opinion of him as a prospect is currently sky-rocketing. Davis is the real deal. While we were watching him, it felt like he caught every thing that was thrown his way. He made easy plays, hard plays and everything in between. We think that Davis has the potential to really blow up this spring and summer with his overall size, athleticism and playmaking ability.

[player_tooltip player_id='1837487' first='Kentrell' last='Gaddis'] II - 2028 Defensive Back - Choctaw

Another Choctaw defensive back as 2028 DB [player_tooltip player_id='1837487' first='Kentrell' last='Gaddis'] II is a 2028 prospect that has really blown up in the last few months. He's picked up some major offers and it's not going to slow down with spring ball and the camp circuit right around the corner. On Saturday, Gaddis was a defender that opponents tried to stay away from because when he was challenged, he would routinely make the play. He's coming off a sophomore season at Choctaw where he improved a ton from start to finish. He's definitely establishing himself as one of the top 2028 prospects in the state, regardless of position.
